Our Samosas are the best. Known for the best street food. Our Butter Chicken stands out among the crowd!

Karwa Chauth Festival at Mela. Having henna artists coming over to your place or you heading over to their home might not always be the best option.

This place deserves a big shout out for their best food . As well as best dahi puri ever in this NOVA . They put a lot of dahi and filling inside the dahi puri and its so flavour full. Their samosas Are expensive just a one samosa but was handmade so appreciate it . We always go there for sweets but i dont know why the rating here in google is so poor but they are actually trying to do their best . Love your dahi puri will come back all the time .

The platter includes two curry options along with rice, naan, and dessert. The food quality is good; however, the service could be improved. The staff appeared overwhelmed and there was a lack of clarity regarding orders, leading to some wait time. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, better management and more organized service would enhance the dining experience.

I was really disappointed with the customer service at Bombay Cafe, especially with the young Punjabi woman at the register (I believe she has glasses). She was extremely rude with our order and rolled her eyes multiple times when my family was making decisions and asking questions about the order. This is unacceptable…don’t be in a customer service role if you can’t be patient or interact with people respectfully, it reflect badly on your character and work ethic. Additionally, careful when buying their take-out rice. They label it as “rice only” but that is false. They add chicken and other meat items in their rice and treat it as biryani. Their food overall is not good quality and with their added poor customer service, I would stay away from this place at all costs.

Spinach is always different either made with a bunch of mushrooms or onions or corn. Taste better with corn. The lady today was rude and refused to put sauce on my rice. I have been going there for 2 years now. And she is the only person to refuse me something I paid for. I will no longer go there. I will get my food elsewhere from here on out. So disappointed in her customer service.

This is a great place with amazing food…
but BE CAREFUL ordering online and check your not being double or triple charged.

Ordered online and was charged 3 times and got my food and was told those charges were pending but then they all went through and Bombay said to go to my bank which dispute was done then later denied from Bombay…. Reached out to the Owner multiple times who later left me on read and gave me no solution or response… this place stole my money and I never received anything back not even a store credit or response… This was my favorite place but no more as they never cared to fix this situation

We dropped in for a quick lunch. We are not super knowledgeable about Indian cuisine. The shop had a section of Sweets, an area to order “plates” and a small seating area. The plates section was like hot buffet bar. We wanted tandoori chicken but ended up with chickpeas and lentils over rice with a small tapioca-like dessert.
The food was very tasty. Midway thru the meal a cook came over and, sensing our lack of familiarity, told us what we should have ordered and gave it to us.
The place was very busy. There were numerous catering orders being picked up.
I have no doubt this was not an Indian Michellin 5 star. But the food was good and plentiful, the staff was friendly. And the place was clean. We both left feeling stuffed for about $20.I would be happy to go back.

This restaurant used to be very nice — busy, clean, and full of life. But my recent visit was a huge disappointment. It honestly feels like they’re trying to run it into the ground.

The sweets were cold and tasted old, the customer service was extremely slow, and it took me almost 20 minutes just to order a tea. The staff looked at us as if they were wondering why we even came in.

The worst part was the restrooms — absolutely filthy, like no one has cleaned them in ages. No soap, no paper towels, and overall just a dirty, neglected place.

At this rate, it really seems like they might be out of business in a few months if they don’t turn things around. Very disappointing experience.

Update – prices have increased but service and quality are still great.

Great food, great service (fast and efficient), good prices, and tons of Diwali sweets!

Goat biryani is great (sometimes it’s bony, meh), fish curry is also great. Everything else is good so you’ll need to find your preferred dishes. Enjoy!

Bombay Cafe in Fairfax is the kind of place that feels like a little burst of warmth and flavor right in the middle of town. From the moment you step inside, there’s this inviting aroma of spices that just makes your mouth water.
The menu is packed with all those classic Indian dishes you crave, from creamy butter chicken that’s pure comfort food to flavorful biryanis that are layered with spices and tender meat. They also have a great selection of vegetarian options, which is always a plus. I’ve tried a few different things there, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care they put into the cooking.
What I really appreciate about Bombay Cafe is the atmosphere. It’s not overly fancy, but it’s cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual weeknight dinner or a relaxed weekend meal with friends. The staff are always friendly and happy to offer recommendations if you’re feeling adventurous or unsure what to order.
Oh, and you can’t forget the naan! It comes out all warm and pillowy, perfect for scooping up all those delicious sauces. Whether you’re a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, Bombay Cafe in Fairfax is definitely worth a visit. It’s become one of my go-to spots for a flavorful and satisfying meal that always hits the spot.

Mold in Sweets. When I showed it to the lady who works there, she smiled and said don’t take that one and walked away. Later she came around and said, “that these types of sweets go bad so quick, what to do?”.
I have eaten and ordered from here many times and their samosas are great. Other foods good as well. But now I am skeptical about eating here. What else they sell old and expired? I guess we will never know. A food inspection needs to happen asap.
