I came here for the chole bhature and was not disappointed! The chole tasted beautifully spiced and the bhatera was fresh. I highly recommend Bombay Bistro for authentic flavour and a pleasant experience!

My first time order from the restaurant and I definitely will become a regular.. I have ordered vegetable curry with two naan, samosa and spring roll. The food was really good, especially the tamarind and mint chutney.. very authentic and very tasty.. the samosa, paneer and naan were also really good.. the quantity was amazing.. spent 31 cad including tax and tip.. the only complain is the delivery that took 60 mins for 5 kms..

I recently ordered takeout from Bombay Bistro, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was packaged neatly and securely, arriving hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The butter chicken from Bombay Bistro is outstanding. The sauce is rich, creamy, and full of flavor with just the right balance of spices. The chicken is tender and perfectly cooked, and the portion size is generous, making it a very satisfying meal

Today, I visited Bombay Bistro, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was excellent. Although the restaurant wasn’t crowded, Mr Sarvesh, a staff member, stood out for being very amicable and helpful; he even offered me an extra samosa, which was a nice gesture. While the prices are on the higher side compared to many other places, I tried the butter naan and curry chicken, and they were definitely worth it. The flavors were spot-on, and it was a satisfying meal after a long time. The food was wholesome and left a great impression, a part of the naan was undercooked but the same can also happen if we cook at home .
Next time, I plan to try the biryani, as it looked incredibly sumptuous when served to others. I highly recommend visiting this place. Even though it might pinch your pocket a bit, the taste of the food and the outstanding service make it well worth the visit.

We had a wonderful experience at Bombay Bistro in Halifax The food was absolutely delicious especially the Hakka noodles and Chole Bhature both full of flavour and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A special thanks to our server Pawan for his friendly and attentive service

I wish I could give zero stars. We went to Bombay Bistro to celebrate our anniversary, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment.
We started with pani puri, they served pre-packaged— not something we expected at a dine-in restaurant. Then we asked a staff member about the spring rolls, specifically if they were made in-house. She said yes, but when they arrived, they were clearly frozen. When I pointed it out, she simply said, “You can cancel the spring rolls.” No apology, no explanation.
Still trying to stay positive, we hoped the main course would make up for it. Unfortunately, it was even worse. We ordered garlic naan, dal makhani, and kadai paneer. Both curries were bland and lacked any real flavor. The naans were thin, dry in the center, and tough to chew.
To top it all off, the food was very expensive and absolutely not worth it.
This restaurant completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day for us. We will never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The samosa chole is out of this world….it’s not very photographic but once you bite into it it’s like…wow.
My parents loved the lamb curries.
I’m a paneer fan and all of them have been great.

Went here for lunch with friends. The service was great and the food was amazing. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Halifax. The price matches the value.

5 stars and 10/10. I was in the area and needed a quick meal, and they delivered! The lamb vindoloo was delicious, together with the fluffy rice and garlic naan. All the meals were freshly prepared and piping hot.
