Bombay Bhel is a fantastic spot, possibly one of the best places for Indian cuisine in the GTA. The owner is friendly, the music is great, and the garlic naan was incredible. The butter chicken is just too tasty! Overall, it has a great vibe and good prices for lunch. Highly recommend. It is an Indian restaurant in the heart of a Chinese community that has been around for a long time, and that really tells you something about the quality.

Came here with my family for dinner. Everything was delicious and our host/waiter Raj was great with his recommendations. If you like your spice I’d go with level 3 at least. Tonight we went mostly 0 for the family but I think we’ll go to 2 next time for a little more spice. Place was clean and didn’t smell.

Disappointed with this order. We spent about $160 on takeout and the portions were very poor, especially the chicken/meat. The korma was watered down and completely lacking flavor. The butter chicken tasted good, but there was very little chicken in it. On top of that, none of the meals came with rice or naan, which was unexpected for the price. Overall, not good value for the money.

Food was fantastic. Seems like it is very authentic as quite a few patrons were Indian, in a predominantly Chinese plaza. The staff was very nice and attentive and gave us lots of recommendations and offered to explain the dishes to us.

The food and service here is great! The server was really helpful in guiding us through the menu on some of the favourites. It’s in a pretty hidden location though so be aware that it’s on the second floor.

This place is in Time Square (China Town kind of). The ambiance is ok. Food is good . Spice level is awesome. Service could be little better but nothing wrong with it.

I went to this restaurant on a weekday for lunch. There were plenty of tables available as it was snowing. I ordered a lamb kabob and a garlic naan. The lamb kabob was pretty good and the naan was excellent. Service was good. If it’s raining or snowing, you can park in the underground garage and take the elevator to the 2/F. Just go straight after exited the elevator.

Unfortunately, pretty average Indian food where the curries definitely need more spices.

I came here with my girlfriend and we ordered chicken tikka masala ($18), vindaloo ($20), and two garlic naans (~$5 each?). Standard pricing (maybe a bit more expensive than usual), but the chicken tikka masala portion was generous.

The curries were definitely lacking in flavor. All I tasted from the chicken tikka masala was tomato. I didn’t get much of the spices which are usually very prominent. The garlic naan was solid.

The service was good too, but it was a bit concerning when the staff said they prefer cash tips because the owner takes them?…

Overall, I’m really hesitant to recommend this restaurant due to the underseasoned food, and especially because of the management potentially not treating their staff well. I hope that this is looked into so that I can give this restaurant another shot.
