Excellence at Par.

Been long planned but never had time. Finally one lazy evening on a Sunny Day we chose to cut loose. And nothing can come to close the Dusk lights washing on the glasses and faces of crowd chilling outside and families munching inside.

Great ambiance and scenic outside. Taste more than Indian cuisine! They have blended the culture into one. So amazing. The Naan stood apart. Felt like duvet filled with soft most cotton !! Worth a try everytime u visit !

Hate off to the Hosting team and servers! Congratulations to the Chef and Team in the Kitchen ! Keep it up !! We will be back always !!

This is my new favourite Indian restaurant in Portsmouth, the food was amazing and great service. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but it’s definitely worth the cost of a taxi.

Great tasting Indian food at a restaurant located at the Southsea Marina. Absolutely no issues for us but it is located one first floor so you need to be able to use stairs.

Sad that it has become generic and sauces are gunky.
Tandoori chicken was burnt, paratha was more chapati like and the chapathi itself was like a crisp.
I love the outdoor drinks area where one can have an appertif before the meal.
Slightly cold reception from staff, but the views and its situation is lovel.

As with most Indian takeaways they are ok nothing special but a hell of a lot cheaper than eating in. Unfortunately never received 2 nan breads in order. Did email with query but no response.

Great venue whether you sit in or on their balcony overlooking the marina. The wine glasses are deceiving as you think you’re drinking less (haha!), I need one . Poppadoms always fresh and lovely condiments. Good bhajis and peshwari naan. Tikka kormas usually very good, although there was an occasion I ordered a takeaway and although I marked the curry to be medium (they let you choose), it was mild. We have lovely family memories here.

Had a lovely lunch. Menu isn’t your typical “curry house” as quite a lot of regional dishes and chef specials as well as the typical classics like Dhansak, Tikka and Dupiaza.
Large group of us including small children, staff were very good in making us welcome and looking after our needs. Great that they also have lots of lunch time special deals and deals to include starter and mains etc at reasonable prices. Probably slightly more expensive than a regular curry house but the food of a much higher quality and standard. We will definitely be back!

Not great curry. 18 of us and the 3 on my boat all had bad guts the following day. Not much lamb in my curry.

Best original Indian curry restaurant in Portsmouth, that’s our vote after our second visit to Bombay Bay Restaurant in Eastney. Wonderful views too.
