I’ve eaten here twice and both times left hungry and disappointed. As a celiac I tried the steak and vegetables as no sauces, chips, roast or mashed potatoes or salad were gluten free. The second time I had salt n pepper squid with vegetables as no chips, roast or mashed potatoes were gluten free. The squid was too salty to eat. Will not go back, dont reccomend if you have allergies

Well the place was so loud I wanted to leave before I even sat down.
But had been driving and I hospital seeing family all day and wasn’t driving again. Ordered (prior to a massive table of like 50 that were so loud!)
It took 1 hour to get our food and when I got it, it was undercooked beans, cabbage & a few hard undercooked broccolini stands. With my salmon. No potato, sweat potato or pumpkin?! So weird. I only ate the salmon & the cabbage as the rest was raw vegetables. Husband’s steak was burnt on the outside and he said over salted. He had the same diabolical vegetables also but at least he got chips! I didn’t get any option. Such a disappointment.
Then we asked to take our desserts back to the room as it was like a loud house in there! Berries on my cheesecake were dead, and the apple crumble had a cup of cinnamon in it basically! Just very subpar food. Won’t return. Bolters Grill.
The only 1 good thing was the lady servers. That’s it. I couldn’t even hear my husband talking to me at the table.

Service was lovely. The waitstaff were helpful, friendly and kind. I ordered the Bolter’s pizza. It came out quick and was amazing tasting.

Very welcoming venue. Even has a kiddies section for the little ones. Service was prompt, and the waiter tonight was so accommodating. Good food even made my little one calmer during the dinner, which was such a needed bonus. Ordered ravioli, bbq wings and chicken schnitzel, all were devoured with such enjoyment. Would definitely return, might try their pizzas next I’ve been hearing a lot about 🙂 please come and try Bolters, excellent service with a smile!

I was pleasantly surprised. We are staying at Country Club Villas (Bolters is onsite).
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff are next level helpful and efficient and i had the best mushroom pasta I’ve had in years (and I live on Lygon Street in Melbourne). Well done chef and staff.
I recommend the mushroom cream pasta.

Omg! the calamari here is cooked to perfection and it’s one of my favourite things to eat when I’m out, evenso, I’ve never had melt in your mouth calamari like Bolters calamari….absolutely superb!

Arrived at 5.15pm At 6.50pm (over 1.5 hours later) still no meals Queried with wait staff to be told it’s coming. Everyone around us who arrived much later was getting their meal. As we had a musical show to attend at 7.00 we demanded a refund (meals paid when ordered) which was grudgingly given after raising our voices. Never again.
