THE BEST! Every time we visit Geneva, we can’t help but eat at our favorite restaurant every single night. The food is simply incredible, and each dish bursts with flavor. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything is thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The staff always makes us feel special, treating us like old friends.

We genuinely look forward to our meals here. It’s become a cherished part of our trips, and we can’t wait for our next visit!

Absolutely at the top of my list in Geneva. The setting, the staff, the wine list – le Bologne hits each of these perfectly, in my opinion.

When the weather is nice and the seating outdoors is open, even better.

Cannot recommend going strongly enough!

Some of the best food I’ve had in Geneva ever. I’m still dreaming about every course I had there. So so good. Service was also top notch. Super cool detail is how they drive a cheese and dessert wagon around. Definitely helps inspire some space after a rich starter and main

One of the best restaurants you can eat in in Geneva.
Starters are excellent, especially the kefta of potimarron and the celeri risotto.
Main courses the cochon de lait was great as well, and dont miss out on the pata negra.
The desserts tray is exceptional. Personal favorite : the chocolate mousse.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of Le Bologne close to Geneva main train station. I had the 3-course business lunch for CHF 40. Considering the very good quality of the food, this is a bargain. The service is attentive & friendly and the chef easily offered some good vegan alternatives to my guest. The terrace is in a quiet side street but gets booked early apparently.

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the blatant racism and lack of professionalism I experienced at this restaurant. I arrived at 12:30 for the lunch menu, and was told they were fully booked, despite the restaurant being half empty. When I asked if we could sit outside, I was told no service outside. However, when we returned at 13:30, we saw people eating outside and questioned the waiter about it.

The true insult came when he eventually relented to sit us. He told us there was no lunch menu available, then handed us the a la carte menu and said, “YOU CANNOT JUST ORDER AN ENTREE.”

This establishment clearly does not value customers of color and their business. The fact that all the one-star reviews are from people of color is not a coincidence.

Not to mention the food was mediocre at best, yet he has the audacity. Shocking that Michelin guide lists this place in Bib Gourmand. Will never come back and won’t recommend it to any of my friends.
