We came from Christchurch for holidays in Hawke’s bay. We trying most of Indian restaurants but one of our favourite restaurants now Bollywood Hastings we tried Amritsari Kulcha , Karahi Paneer and Pav Bhaji hmmmmm yumm. Its Best Indian authentic flavours food in Hawke’s Bay I highly recommend this place if you want good delicious food.

I could tell the wait staff were new so definitely not a fault on their part but maybe some more training would have helped as we had to take the order twice. The butter chicken was super sweet like a whole pack of sugar was used. The breads and platter was yum but probably wouldn’t get again

I ordered butter chicken and a garlic naan to be delivered to my address via ordermeal. They forgot the pack the rice, I called inquiring if there dishes are no longer served with a side of rice as it doesnt state on this website. The guy I spoke to said it does then I explained that the rice was missing, he offered to have the missing rice delivered and that it would be at my door within the next 10-15 minutes, almost 40 minutes later the rice was delivered, the driver just stood at the end of the driveway and started walking away as my partner spotted them in the window. My driveway is not long so I dont understand why they just stood there instead of coming to the door.. if I had known it was going to take this long I wouldve just cooked my own rice, meal ended up going cold. I wont be ordering from them again due to this experience.

Amazing flavours! Biryani is gorgeous. I had many meals from here both dine out and in, and they are always impressive.

Cheese naan bread were the one you need to try. All the curry we ordered were delicious & I could taste authentic Indian spices. I especially liked kolhapuri chicken curry.

Food was okay we had the beef saag and rogan josh and seekh kebab and chicken biryani I guess menu should be updated at once as prices are very different for $22 per curry I think they could give abit more and also waiters should greet customers alot better the girl waiter was lovely but the guy behind the counter needs to smile people love happy customer service so really need to work on that.
