We had a wonderful dining experience at Bollywood Bites, California. We ordered butter naan, sabji, dal, and rice, and everything was delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked. The naan was soft and well-baked, the sabji was flavorful and well-spiced, and the dal was rich, comforting, and authentic in taste. The rice was light and paired beautifully with the dishes.

The food was pretty tasty — especially impressed by the variety and generous portions. The cinnamon on the gulab jamun was an unusual combo, but it actually didn’t work ! However, the service really needs improvement — no greeting, and the staff came off quite rude. Great food, but poor service experience overall.

Pretty good food, I liked the Thali with Karahi Paneer, Vegetable Soup and Vegetable Biryani. The food is flavorful no doubt about it, goes to show how good Chef Patel is and he’s been in business for quite sometime now. Portions are good enough and I also liked that you could order the same Entrees as a “side” within reasonable amount. It’s right across of Whole Foods so parking would be validated if you happen to do grocery shopping after your meal, which you might like as an idea, given the food will appreciate some good walk after.

We ordered butter chicken, vegetable biryani, butter naan, and tandoori chicken (thali). The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes. My spouse and I and two others had the whole restaurant to ourselves due to eating after 2:30 p.m. Server was personable, and the chef did a wonderful job with cooking the food in a timely manner. All the walls are photos of the owner taking pictures with various celebrities. I do not have any cons.
