Just love this place!! Whenever we are in the area we get our food for take out. They have great service they are always friendly and their food is delicious! We will definitely be back. We enjoy their burgers, sandwiches, nachos, tots, and onion rings.

We had such a great experience at Boll Weevil in Ramona! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, and the service was truly top-notch. Huge shoutout to Cortney, Paul, and Scott—you all went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We even showed up a little late around 8:45 PM (just 15 minutes before closing), and instead of turning us away, the team greeted us with open arms and genuine smiles. That kind of hospitality is rare and so appreciated!
Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is a must. Thanks again to the amazing staff—we’ll definitely be back!

Lived here 10 years,driven by every week,day and never stopped and now i know why. I will go another 10 years without ever stopping again.Keep going 2 more mins to up the hill grill in ramona! Or 30 to heros in wynola or miners diner in julian for great food! This place is a drive by place for sure.
Dirty. 5 people and she gave us 3 menus…? Sodas $3.50 and even though kids(10&16) ordered off the same “adult” menu she brought smaller cups….rip off? Older blonde is very unpleasant and very scattered. 20 mins to get 4 plastic blue Pepsi cups with fountain soda and thats after i made eye contact and she did the oops i forgot you point and then got them.Tables that sat after us got food before us. We ordered burgers,sandwich and a hot dog…left after 45 mins of waiting for it.We never ate.$19 sandwich, $17 burger? These are prices you pay at good restaurants!…with wrapped silverware and non gummy mustard bottles.Not this dive where they bring you a grey plastic cafeteria tray with a wooden box in the middle full of silverware,mouthpiece down, and ours has food smudges on them, a plastic container with pickles…like bar nuts but pickles for your burger…yuck.
The final straw was her ignoring my husband.She had not stopped once to let us know about our food so as she strolled by with milkshakes for another table my husband said “excuse me, is our food coming soon”? She smirked and kept walking! We cashed out. Ignore my husband? And still want over $100 for food and expect a tip just for breathing,certainly not for good service….which is what tips are for! Good,friendly service. We saw an elderly man walk his drink up for a refill…thats bad,bad service! Unless your at McDonald’s.
Let your money speak and take it somewhere worth your hard earned money!

Found this place through an online search and was not disappointed. The service was quick and friendly. Restaurant was clean and enjoyed by locals. That encourages me when trying a place for the first time, especially when not from the area. Food was flavorful and plentiful. Plenty of parking but patience is required when getting back onto the busy road. We would go back if visiting the area again.

A delightful hidden gem with a good menu and good staff, the food was scrumptious and the atmosphere was pleasant, there is a small arcade here too and the music is nice as well, only minor criticism is a topping for one of the burgers was missing and it took a bit to rectify but overall a good experience.
