Nice atmosphere. Lovely servers. Met the wife/mom who was delightful and told me about their spices they sell.
We had the Crispy Kitfo Roll, which our server suggested. It was delicious! Very flavorful and crispy.
Our dinner was the Tokkuma! The flavor was phenomenal! Plenty of injera to scoop our food. There was SO much food. We definitely went home with a lot of leftovers since it was just 2 of us.
While the food had a good kick to it with spice level, it didn’t overwhelm the flavor! Cleared my sinuses, but didn’t linger.
Already planning to go back as soon as possible!
We ordered Kitfo (minced beef) and cubed fried fish with veggies, both were flavorful.
Enjoyed our family dinner. Excellent food and great service by our friendly host Betty!
If you haven’t been there yet, try them… you won’t be disappointed. Ask for their spicy sauce if you like a little heat like I do. Also try sprinkling a bit of Mitmita spice on ingira (bread) for a change – I liked it that way.

I’ve been wanting to try this cuisine for a while, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing—10/10—and the atmosphere was just as lovely.
That said, the service could have been a little more enthusiastic and helpful, especially for first-time guests. When we mentioned it was our first time, our server acknowledged it but didn’t really offer much guidance. We didn’t specifically ask for explanations, so I don’t hold that against him, but when it came time to order, we were a bit unsure and could’ve used a little more direction or excitement about the menu.
Thankfully, I had done some research beforehand, so I had a general idea of what I wanted and how everything worked.
After we finished eating, one of the owners came in and apologized, saying he wished he had been there sooner so he could have walked us through everything. He asked if we’d be willing to give them another try, and I told him we absolutely would.
I didn’t take any photos of the food because I was a little nervous and also wanted to stay present and enjoy the moment with my husband. Since this was a completely new cuisine for me, I didn’t want to accidentally do anything disrespectful.
Overall, the food alone makes this place worth visiting, and we’re definitely planning to go back. I’m excited to return.
My second time trying their food and both times were phenomenal. Hot and fresh and well seasoned, obviously made with a lot of care. Unique flavors you can’t get anywhere else. I like to ask for a recommendation and I have been pleased both times.
The restaurant space is clean and modern and very well cared for by the owners, who are often there to greet and chat with their customers. Friendly cozy vibe with Ethiopian jazz music.
5/5 would recommend this place to anyone who likes great food and relaxing hangouts.
