I had a wonderful experience at Bole Ethiopian Cuisine. The restaurant is named after the clean and upscale Bole neighborhood, and it truly lives up to its name. The customer service was excellent—very welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The restaurant was also very clean with a great ambiance. I highly recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bole Ethiopian Cuisine has some of the best food, service, and atmosphere of any of the restaurants I have been to in the twin cities. We ordered the Tokkumaa and Yebeg Alicha to share and we’re absolutely amazed and shocked at the amount, presentation, an quality of the food. Each bite was unique and delicious, filled with so much flavor and spice. We left completely full, in spirit and in stomach, several take out containers filled with food for several more meals later this week. Thank you Bole for the excellent service and community.

I’m so glad I discovered this place, a step above typical Ethiopian places! My son and I ordered the spicy toasted injera appetizer (we loved this). We also had the fried and lightly braised tilapia, as well as the lamb stir fry, which were both distinctive and delicately spiced. We will definitely return.

If I had to recommend 1 unique restaurant to visit in Minneapolis, this would definitely be it. Everything is so fresh and packed full of flavor. Ive been here a few times, tried multiple plates, and every one of them has been incredible. Highly recommend!

Great flavors and options for a lovely Ethiopian meal. Our large group shared several plates and everything was delicious. Service was a bit slow and we were waiting on water refills or the chance to order now drinks a few times. Our group of seven were seated in a small booth with deep seats that felt a little cramped and warm. Overall, a nice dinner with a few small issues.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service. Love the tibs! Great vegetarian options too. Nice indoor and patio seating. The injera is good and they serve a generous amount with each entree. The best Ethiopian food I’ve tried in the Twin Cities!

A friend recommended this place, and I’m so glad she did! We came here with a larger party of 9 people. They were able to seat us no problem and virtually no wait. Our waiter was great, informative, and checked in with us often. Despite being a larger party, we didn’t have to wait too long to receive our food. The food was SO good. By the end of the meal, all of us were stuffed! And there was still food leftover. The food is also reasonably priced and not bad at all if you want to share dishes with your friends. The only and biggest downside was the heat in the restaurant. We went on a hot day in the evening, and the temperature was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside. Most of us were sweating the whole time, and the heat was really hard to ignore after a while. Overall, I’d still say it was worth it, though.

Bole Ethiopian Cuisine truly stands out as one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the Twin Cities ️ From the moment we walked in, everything — the atmosphere, the service, and especially the food — was exceptional. The space felt warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home

We decided to share the Tokkumaa and the Yebeg Alicha, and we were honestly blown away by the generous portions, beautiful presentation, and incredible quality of the dishes ✨ Every single bite was packed with rich flavor and perfectly balanced spices. It felt like each taste offered something new and exciting

Not only did we leave completely satisfied, but we also had several takeout containers filled for meals later in the week We left full in every sense — both in spirit and in stomach. Huge thanks to Bole for the outstanding service and for creating such a strong sense of community. We can’t wait to come back!

I stumbled upon this wonderful new restaurant in Maple Grove with meat and vegan options. I can’t wait to go back! The vegan sampler was out of this world, as were the appetizers. My friend had a couple different traditional meat dishes.

I was looking for a unique yet flavorful place to eat while in Minnesota on business travel and came across this spot! At first glance, you think you’re in the wrong location, but you’re not!
As soon as I opened the door I was greeted and seated, which is an A+ for me.
My waitress was amazing with the recommendations.
I tried the Midway dish with the three sides.
EVERYTHING WAS FLAVORFUL AND GOOD!
Come try it, you will not be disappointed!!
