Enter the Cidery and wait in line to order food and drinks and start a tab. Go find a great spot and you’ll get texted your food is up and you get it at the food truck outside. The Eggplant Parm sandwich was excellent. Hard Ciders, of course, to be tried a Plenty. Go when there’s a band. We enjoyed No Way Out IMMENSELY on our honeymoon weekend. What a great evening!

Ordered the special pulled pork Sammy and it was a perfect pairing to my seasonal ciders on tap. apple crumble and slice, both flavors were delicious and not overwhelming. I enjoy a cider that doesn’t taste like syrup and Bold Rock comes through everytime-pickle lovers, they have it too. Enjoy live music and other events as well bring the whole family with indoor and outdoor seating and games to accommodate.

Cool place to grab a drink and some great food. I personally am not a big hard cider fan, but the non alcoholic apple cider was great as well as the burgers and nachos. Definitely recommend if you like cider and great food.

My absolute favorite place to stop when we visit family in Mills River. They know we better fit in a Bold Rock lunch when I come down from Florida or else I’m a sad person. Highly recommend the burgers whether you get a classic cheeseburger or the steakhouse one. Also, my go to beers are the Imperial Orange or the Blackeberry (won’t be disappointed). There’s a nice variety of beers on tap for everyone tastes too if you have someone picky in the group. Plus you can take a couple 6 packs home with you if you find a favorite flavor. Dogs and kids welcome as well. Plenty of seating outside too when the weather is nice and they do live music sometimes. There’s a couple of card and board games available too in the indoor seating area. My husband and I stayed for a week for Christmas and our group stopped here 3 times since it’s good, affordable, and 15 minutes away from us. There’s plenty of other distilleries in the area but why would I go somewhere else when everything is here?

Been a long-time fan of Bold Rock and have visited the Nellysford location many times and we were in the Asheville area and decided to check out the Mills River location. We loved it as they have such a big space for so many different types of groups! They have a 21+ viewing deck inside above the bar, plenty of indoor seating for family groups, and covered and non covered outdoor seating options as well. They had a big variety of on tap ciders and beers and great bar food options. If we are back in the Asheville area again, this is definitely a must go place!

Love this place. Great vibe for hanging out with groups or grabbing lunch alone. The food and drink are amazing. The cider is delicious. Typically, a brewery that is so well known for their beverages has mediocre food options. Surprisingly, the food is amazing. I’ve had the steakhouse burger and cheese steak sandwich. They are both one of the best sandwiches you can find. I highly recommend for lunch in this area.
