An incredible dining experience at BoLD Restaurant and Bar! This hidden gem in Breckenridge exceeded my expectations in every way. The cozy atmosphere and bookcase decor create the perfect setting for a fun night out with friends and family.
The food is simply delicious . I loved the Greek street tacos and the Chicken and Waffles Benedict . The service was excellent, our server was attentive and friendly .
What really sets BoLD apart is its fun and lively atmosphere . The Bloody Mary Bar is a must-try and the staff is very friendly . The variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is great .

I’ve always loved coming to Bold — it’s been one of my favorite spots in Breckenridge. Unfortunately, this last experience completely changed my perspective, and it’s the reason I won’t be returning or recommending it to others.
Our server, Princess, took over 15 minutes to greet our table. If we hadn’t been waiting for others to join us, we likely would have left. From the start, she seemed disengaged and uninterested in being there. She was very difficult to hear, barely spoke to us, and overall came across as quite rude.
We ordered appetizers, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. Drinks were also slow — we could see them sitting in the service well for extended periods before being brought to the table. At one point, she even came to our table chewing her own food multiple times, which felt unprofessional.
When I ordered a second drink, it unfortunately wasn’t to my taste. I politely asked if it would be possible to switch it out and apologized for the inconvenience. Although she did replace it and did not charge me (which I appreciate), she visibly rolled her eyes and barely interacted with our table afterward.
After our entrees were delivered, we didn’t see her again for about 30 minutes. She never checked in to see how everything was, and we had to flag her down — along with other tables — just to get our checks.
It’s disappointing because I’ve genuinely enjoyed Bold in the past. However, based on this experience, I won’t be returning, and if I did, I would request a different server.

Food was amazing- we were there for breakfast and everything we had was flavorful, cooked well, and just perfect. Country fried steak was flavorful and crispy and a giant portion. The egg white omelette was huge and flavorful- the salsa on it was extraordinary. Drinks were great and staff was so friendly. I would highly recommend this place for brunch/breakfast.

For breakfast the best place to enjoy with family and friends out server I think so it’s MC base on the tickets was super friendly and patient with us (we got two kids ) he was very focus on our table and capable and well trained!
Food absolutely delicious and came up so fast ! Was medium crowded I guess it’s slow season but food taste incredibly fresh and well prepared ! You can tell they know very well what they are doing it!
The pork belly OMG you must try it and the steak and eggs cooked so perfectly that this two options are heaven !

Absolutely delicious! We came here for dinner and got the meatball appetizer and the veggie stew. Both were so good especially after days of eating mostly sandwiches and fries. Highly recommend this spot!

We enjoyed dinner here on a quiet summer night in Breck. Place was rather empty so we were not anticipating a stellar meal. We were wrong. The mussels were outstanding, seasoned and prepared to perfection. The burrata was luscious and creamy and the Moroccan chicken skewers were tasty with harissa. The lamb chops were the best we’ve ever had. Seriously. The best in Breck and the best anywhere we’ve been. If you like lamb, go here now. Great vibe inside, bookcases with cool old books, some locals at the bar swapping stories over a cold one. Booths could use a refresh of seats, cushions. Thanks to Tom, our server. Exceptional stellar meal.

We absolutely love this restaurant and keep coming back every time we visit Breck. Matthew is the best server-very knowledgeable and friendly-always answers our many questions and gi es the best recommendations. We haven’t had a bad meal here but we love the short rib pasta (my husband dreams about it) and usually the lamb but for the first time I tried the Bold pasta and I couldn’t believe how much seafood it had! So excellent. We also had the carnitas tacos and shared them amongst 4 (which Matthew said was possible) and it was a perfect recommendation. They are more than happy to answer questions about dietary restrictions (one in our party is lactose free). We have tried many other restaurants (including James Beard Radicato-which we all felt underwhelmed) and this is still our favorite. Go happy hour for amazing deals!

This is a great go-to place for a flavorful, reasonably priced meal, and the menu has many options. We came here twice during our vacation because it was in walking distance from our rental and on the way to all of the downtown shops.
The salads are amazing – colorful, flavorful, and huge portions. Add a protein. The salmon is delicious! I ordered the greek carnitas tacos for lunch during our second visit, and it was just enough for a light meal. Generous portions of meat, complemented with avocado, parsley, and pickled red onions.
When we come back, BoLD will definitely be a place we revisit.

Just wanted to say that this restaurant is in desperate need of renovation. The service was great. The Greek lemon soup was absolutely gross. The portions are very small and of course the prices are very high being in a mountain town. For the amount of money that we spent in the hassle to try to find parking I just wouldn’t recommend this place. $187 for three people with no cocktails that’s kind of absurd.

Will not go back. We decided to check out Bold for breakfast again, as we loved it a few years ago. We left it disappointed, the quality of the food fell significantly. The eggs on my Irish benedict were severely undercooked (translucent white, and not just a bit, is too much even for me, and mind you, I don’t mind runny eggs), the gf English muffin was just dry, even the Basic B was somehow weak. Shame, but it’s not the same spot anymore.

Favorite breakfast place! Absolutely adored the many gluten free options (basically, you can get anything in GF form). Food was amazing, fun 80s music, great wall full of books (we nerds love it). Big, rich, very tasty portions. If it was open earlier, we would probably come before every hike 🙂
We were a bit disappointed with the dinner, Bold Burger with bread instead of a bun (GF version) was good, but fries were definitely overcooked. Cobb salad chicken was good. We asked for some additional dressing because initially, it didn’t feel there was one.
Overall rating is still high, though, as the breakfasts were just exceptional.
