I made a reservation online and it was easy and modified it once after we realized we needed more time to get there.
It is an adventure to find the entrance but it was part of the fun experience. The building is very interesting with a lot of personality we enjoyed walking around.
I really liked it here, very clean and tidy.
Our waiter was great to us, we had the Brussels for an appetizer and they were delicious.
Our main courses were somewhat small portions, every thing tasted great but you don’t get much for what you pay. They have a lot of apparel and different things to buy. Thank you for having us!

During my last few trips to Atlanta, I purchased several beers to take back with me to Ohio. Each time I do this I make sure I pick up some Bold Monk brews. While at Hop City, the staff there highly suggested that I visited that Brewery. Honestly, they were adamant that I go right then and there and pointed out how close Bold Monk Brewing Company was to their location on the West End. I promised them that I would visit Bold Monk on my next visit to the ATL. I am so glad I did.
I visited many breweries throughout the country in the last ten years. I have visited large ones, small ones, some with several floors, hole in the wall, refitted and refurbished spaces and everything else in between. Bold Monk Brewing is easily one of the most beautiful breweries I have visited. It is gorgeous. I got lost leaving the bathroom and almost forgot I had a table.
First up, the place is huge. Did I say it was gorgeous. If you really want to impress a date (and I know oftentimes potential mates are not about that beer life), take them to Bold Monk Brewing Company.
Second, they have so many places to sit inside and outside. I love that they have seating outside but it is under shelter and well lit. They even have a ping pong table. If you want to dine under the stars, you can do that as well.
Finally, it was their beers that bought me to that place. I tried several more. Their flights are cheap and delicious (two words I like in the same sentence).
Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They treated me like I was a regular even though it was my first time there. I love being treated like a regular. Every time I am in the ATL, I will always make it a point to visit.
Also, their pizza is amazing.

The burger that I had here was THE best burger I ever tasted in life! This is no exaggeration. We stumbled upon this place while randomly waiting on a reservation to another attraction we were going to. Upon entering the decor was very eye catching, you’re in an actual brewery. The decor is pristine. The atmosphere was alive but not overwhelmingly so. The service was excellent. The guy who served us was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive and patient with some of my people as they had questions. Great service but greater than great food. I wish I could give them 10 stars for this burger. It was so good that as I write this review my mouth is watering. They chose the best selection of beef you could find, grilled it to the absolute best temp and texture, they had a toasted bun, grilled onions, and some type of sauce that is **chefs kiss. ANY time I’m in Atlanta, I’m going here to get one of these burgers. I would definitely recommend a visit to the Bold Monk.

First time stopping in and we will definitely be back. Had a couple of beers and the hummus for a snack. Our hummus was so good, and a generous portion. Beers were crispy and refreshing as expected. All of the food at the tables around us smelled incredible! The whole place is a vibe. Saw so many other families which is refreshing when trying to find good family friendly neighborhood spots. Can’t wait to come back!

On Labor Day wife and I decided to finally venture back within the confines of I-285 and hit up an Atlanta brewery we had not visited as yet, but heard a LOT of good things about regarding their devotion to Belgian style beers and ales. Traffic was really nice, as it usually is in Atlanta on holidays when someone hasn’t done anything incredibly stupid and caused an accident, so it didn’t take long to get there. Been a long time since we’d been in the Howell Mill Road area of the city and as we pulled into the brewery parking lot I noted it was across from the K&G Men’s Warehouse, a place I use to get suits 30 or more years ago.
I will comment first off that the physical plant for this brewery is the most impressive of any of the 141 breweries we’ve been to. I suspect there are even nicer ones around the country, but I doubt there are in Georgia.
That said, it has to be noted that this is a restaurant with a full bar as well as a brewery, so we went to have lunch as well as sample their beer. Neither disappointed. My wife had the Monk Burger and I had the Fish sandwich. Both were excellent, as were the fries, or Belgian Frites as the establishment terms them, sticking with the Belgian continental theme. As good as the frites were, after tasting the coleslaw on the fish sandwich, I was thinking that would have been a nice side option as well.
So what about the beer? It ranged from very nice to really good. We went with having the two pre-defined flights that were on the menu that day, the West Side Flight and the Abbey Flight. The former is made up of two of their lagers and two of their IPAs; and the latter is made up of their Belgian ales, from a single to a quad, which works out nicely.
Service was good; timely and attentive but not overly so. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one that I hope to repeat at some point.

We truly enjoyed our evening at Bold Monk. Kylie (spelling?) at the bar was friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent wine selection which is rare for a brewery. My husband enjoyed a beer flight of Bold Monk’s best Belgians. At dinner, we were taken very good care of by our server Kalimah. She was friendly and attentive. The fish sandwich was crispy but moist, perfectly cooked. Also recommend The Abbot sandwich, both served with delicious Belgian fries. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Atlanta!

Came in a Saturday. The vibe was amazing the pours even better and the food to die for. Walked out saying this has to be my top brewery. If you like Belgiums, this place is a must. Came to Atlanta for the weekend and glad I found this place. Family friendly environment.
