Island time, but food was amazing. Best we’ve had in a week. Drinks were photo worthy. Prices were on par with the rest of the island but food flavor and freshness were exceptional. Lion, our host, was a cool guy. Well done Bold Buddha – a notch above the rest!

Food was some of the best that we had. They offered the best cocktails we have had on the island for the cheapest price. Completely recommend!!

Great find amongst a lot of food choices. Not gonna lie: the AC and smiling service are worth it on their own. Summer took amazing care of us despite being short staffed on a Friday! The bartender made me a mudslide even though it wasn’t technically on the menu. Also, the fried gouda appetizer was DELICIOUS. Great sauces and fish dishes.

They say shrinkflation is impacting restaurants, but at Bold Buddha, we were thoroughly impressed by the generous portion sizes, delicious flavors, and unique food and drink offerings. Sitting inside provided a nice relief from the sun, but there also is outdoor seating available. I would recommend stopping by here when you are in Sint Maarten, I will be sure to be back!

We went to this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Saint Maarten. The food was amazing both times. The service was top tier and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves fresh food with impeccable taste. The wait is a little long, but good things come to those who wait…the food is worth the wait. 10/10

I had lunch at The Bold Buddha with my family while visiting Philipsburg, and we were really impressed! The food was fresh, flavorful, and offered a nice variety to choose from. The staff was warm and welcoming, and although the service was a little on the slower side, the meal was absolutely worth the wait. Another big plus—the restaurant is fully air-conditioned, which was a relief on a 36°C day. I’d definitely recommend this spot!

Beautiful view. Attentive staff without being bothersome. Chicken pineapple tacos were really good flavor combo. Also loved the sprouts with Asian sauce. Gouda rings are what you get if a mozzarella stick and an onion ring had a baby after eating a lot of Gouda. These were fine but sort of “one note” if you get that expression.
Overall happy to recommend.
