Phenomenal! I truly think they could win a fried chicken competition their pork Ramen is absolutely amazing. Smoked pork is tender as can be! Definitely order a side of the kimchi…. you will not be disappointed. The fried chicken buns are fantastic. The way they use whole spicy mustard seeds will leave you wanting more in every bite!

Boke bowl offers a great hearty meal in a cozy environment for an affordable price! They have a range of options from noodle soups to rice bowls to dumplings to stuffed steam buns, and plenty of vegetarian and child-friendly options. I was impressed by the (pork) ramen broth, which was deeply savory and not overly heavy or salty. It balanced well with the sweet potatoes, however unconventional, that were included with the bowl. The pork ramen and fried chicken rice bowl were both well loved, but the lemongrass chicken was slightly lacking in flavor in comparison. Excited to go back!

Decided to try this place for the first time after our visit at OMSI. Definitely will be coming back. The food was tasty and very flavorful, and the portions were good too. Didn’t order the Brussels sprouts this time but will need to try it next time.

In a city with this many high quality Asian food offerings, Boke Bowl easily stands out as one of the best for variety of options and the rich flavors. Duck ramen was simply amazing. Also don’t miss out on the lamb wontons. The staff is very attentive as well. Overall 10/10 experience!

We left without finishing our food. Kids ramen was too smoky flavor. The pot stickers were filled with a hard balls of meat. The ramen bowl had big pieces of under cooked vegetables. The fried chicken ok. Not great overall

We absolutely loved our experience at Boke Bowl! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, a perfect blend of modern, casual dining with a strong community vibe. The menu offers a creative fusion of East and West, and you can tell a lot of thought went into both the flavors and the presentation.

We ordered the fried chicken bowl and the tuna poke bowl, and both were outstanding. The use of fresh, seasonal vegetables really stood out and added an extra layer of flavor and texture to the dishes. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tuna poke was fresh and beautifully balanced. We highly recommend adding a side of their pickled veggies, they were tangy, vibrant, and paired perfectly with both bowls.

One detail that really impressed us as parents: they provide small water cups for kids along with the silverware. It may seem minor, but thoughtful touches like that make families feel welcome and included.

The pricing is very reasonable considering the quality and creativity of the food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience.

Overall, Boke Bowl offers something truly special—delicious, thoughtfully prepared food in a relaxed and inclusive setting. We’ll definitely be back and encourage anyone in the area to give it a try!

Was between 3 and 4 stars but since we got delivery and not in person, figured I’d give the benefit of the doubt. The pork ramen was nice, high quality. Brisket buns were tasty and soft, but the brisket pieces were literally 50% fat, which some people might be all about but it wasn’t my jam – the fat wasn’t chewy thankfully, but it was just a lot, would have liked more of the actual meat which was really good. The dumpling week duck dumplings were pretty good, but a little tough on the edges and didn’t have as much flavor as I hoped. The pickles were great! Sadly, our ginger green onion rice was very cold and hard when it arrived despite everything else still being hot.

Crazy good. Crazy cheap.

Makes me proud to live in PDX.

This place is a perfect example of Portland taking food to the next level.

I was just down in San Francisco and paid $70 for a bowl that I would argue tastes worse than heavenly bliss they serve here.

Brussels sprouts. Not a #1 on my list. But this place somehow made them my favorite part of the dish.

I leave this place feeling like I took some supplements. You know that feeling when your body tells you all the vitals are in check.

Yup this place does that.

Arguably the best soup, dumplings, and somehow fried chicken spot on PDX.

You need to go here, it’s not a matter of if, but when.

Plan it, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

In fact you’ll be back for more with friends.

Loved! Tofu rice bowl. Tons of veggies. Delicious. Daughter had the fried chicken rice bowl. Ate it all! We are very selective. Can’t wait to come back. Front of the house was very welcoming.
