Cute little establishment nestled in a fairly busy area. Ordered the almond boneless chicken lunch special and crab Rangoon appetizer. Placed my order inside and was told it’d be a 15 minute wait. It was ready in just under that. Chicken was average, nothing too special, fried rice well-cooked and steamy, egg roll with bean sprouts (my favorite). Thicker brown gravy sauce for chicken, orange sauce for egg roll, orange/red sauce for crab rangoons. Fairly average, not the best I’ve had but not the worst either. My only criticism is about the crab rangoons, although they were crunchy and hot, they were not fresh. They lacked a crisp crunch and crunched more like they were stale. Still very delicious. Overall experience was not terrible, want more bang for my buck, will come back to try some of the other things they offer.

Awful food! This was my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant for many years when I lived in Roseville. Food was excellent and prices very reasonable. I returned today after having moved from the area several years ago. It was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The breading on the sweet-and-sour chicken was soggy/mushy. The sauce was so thick and sweet it was sickening. The Eggroll tasted strange was also mushy. The ‘fried rice’ was by no means fried rice. It was very mushy white rice mixed with brown rice. So disappointed! Will never go back.

So this used to be my favorite Chinese food restaurant when I was a little girl. My parents used to go here and order my entire family of eight Chinese food as a treat. This was the best restaurant… But they have come down from where they were in previous years. The portion sizes are small, the rice is very dry, the servers are rude, and they don’t serve the big sweet rolls anymore. I’m sad to see this restaurant end up like this.

My Husband and I went there on Christmas Day. The lady who took our order was rude. We wasted 32.00 dollars on this food that was under cooked and the rice taste like it was cooked in a dirty pan. The ribs tasted old and dry. I will never go back again.

We have ordered carryout from here for years, but were terribly disappointed with our meal yesterday. The szechuan lo mein noodles were barely cooked, totally different texture and flavor than in the past. Sweet and Sour chicken had 3 pieces of pineapple, no other vegetables. Sad, because we really used to enjoy their food. Called and asked if new chef, they said no…and maybe our tastebuds had changed?

We went here spur of the moment and honestly it was just a waste of time! We ordered the general tsaos chicken and the pepper chicken combinations. The rices was sticky and mushy and the chicken tasted repulsive. The only this worth trying is the wonton soup. I very nicely complained of the meals and was still charged $13

The worst service I have ever had!!!!! I had a hair in my food and the lady had the nerve to try and call me a liar.

The first time I tried to order, I called the restaurant and asked how much it would be to order the sweet and sour chicken and the lady literally snapped at me and told me that she was not going to tell me the price and that I should already know the price (I had never been there before or even ordered from them, so how was I supposed to know the price?) so I decided to just order anyways. I then decided to order again a week later (against my better judgment) and I called it in got there 15 mins later and then sat in the restaurant waiting for another 25 mins because the lady said that they forgot to put in my order( which was no big deal). But then I get home and notice that there was A HAIR IN MY FOOD!!!!!!! And to top it off, the lady had the nerve to deny that she seen the hair, I have photos and videos of the hair.

The worst service I have ever had!!!!!! They are rude!!!!!! And the food is horrible. During the short time that I sat there waiting for my food I have literally seen 2 people also upset about the service, one lady simply asked for a receipt and the lady refused to give her a receipt and I also seen another woman come back because they gave her the wrong order. Just horrible!!!!! Do not go to this place, if you are not disappointed the first time , keep going and you will surely be disappointed by their service sooner or later.

Wow is all I can say. I used to love this place however in the years I have spent away from the area it has sadly declined. I recently acquired a new job in the area and decided to order lunch. Not only was the cost of the lunch combination portion equivalent to other local Chinese dinner prices but the food quality is poor. My fried rice consists of more white rice than fried and my sweet and sour pork lacks any vegetable accompaniment. Sorry Bok Ho but I have to say BOK NO.

Been going here since 1997 when Pearl City went downhill (parents built the rep, retired, kids destroyed it) making me search a new venue!
Food quality has been very hit and miss last 2 yrs. Crispy wontons, Crispy Duck still good. Skip the fried rice, its just greasy over soy sauced hard pellets but the white rice, still perfect! Lemon Chicken and Hot-Sour Soup were great, Almond Boneless sauce was a strange ‘greige’ color; only one braved it, only one had bathroom issues for 12hrs!

The couple who own and run it have always been friendly to us. Service has always been timely, sometimes too fast!

Decor/atmosphere: Inside has not been redone since the 1970’s with dark wood panels, red vinyl booths, w/cheap chipped formica tables, several round heavy dark wood table sets. It’s very dark and dingy; one dining area kept in dark as rarely more than two tables are occupied, the bathroom is like a murder scene in a horror flick, complete with creaking door, disgusting and broken cloth towel on roller, broken mirror, filthy hanging sink, cracked tiles, barely hanging privy door missing a lock, and requisite flickering light! It’s like checking off a college dare to enter! ….I’m an evil Aunt so brought the niece and nephew to scare them! 🙂 worked but they call it ‘so creepy it’s cool!’ Seriously, it should make us run, yet we still go here once a month!

Disappointing.
This used to be the undisputed, top notch Chinese restaurant in the area.
Food was over cooked and close to inedible.
Spent 40.00 on food and the rude woman at the counter charged me for chopsticks. That has never happened to me before. Ever.
Subpar food, rude service, unwelcoming atmosphere.
Not spending another dime in the establishment.
