Listen — Bojangles is still Bojangles, and after missing it for way too long, this meal absolutely hit. The food was hot, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and exactly the kind of comfort food that reminds you why this place has a cult following. Every bite tasted fresh, intentional, and unapologetically Bojangles. No notes there.

The biscuits? Still elite. Fluffy, buttery, golden perfection. Even without the cheese (more on that in a second), they held their own like the icons they are. This is the kind of food that feels like a reunion — familiar, satisfying, and worth the wait.

Now… here’s where things got a little wild. They were out of cheese. On a biscuit. Which, okay — things happen. BUT there was no discount or adjustment for ordering a biscuit with cheese that did not, in fact, contain cheese. Instead, the cashier mentioned they honored my husband’s active-duty military discount and followed it up with, “Well, that makes up for the cheese?”

Ma’am… respectfully… no
Also, where was the “thank you for your service”?? Because that felt like the bare minimum moment.

That said — even with the cheese-less chaos — the food itself still delivered. The sides were hot, well-seasoned, and tasted exactly how they should. Everything came out fresh, and nothing felt rushed or forgotten. Except the cheese.

Bojangles knows what it is and does what it does exceptionally well. One awkward moment doesn’t undo the fact that this place still brings the flavor, the comfort, and the consistency. I’ll absolutely be back — hopefully when cheese is present and accounted for.

Five stars for the food, the nostalgia, and the fact that when Bojangles hits, it hits. Just… maybe keep the cheese stocked and the gratitude flowing next time.

We finally tried it. Bojangles was my favorite chicken place in NC, so I was so excited when they opened this. I wish they had a full menu. The biscuits are still delicious and the chicken is super juicy. Long drive to find just a limited menu..

I should say I was last at Bojangles around 39 years ago. I was young in the military in southern Mississippi and went in for a quick bite and I remember how good the blueberry biscuit was. Years and years later I heard they had one in Southern Colorado and decided one day just to drive there when I was off work. 2 hours down 2 hours back. Was it worth it? Yes it was. Now if you go in there expecting the Denver Biscuit company, well go somewhere else.
You’re not going to get a cocktail. You’re not going to get ambiance like they have at the Stanley marketplace. You’re going to get a truck. Stop playing country music and some pretty high calorie (they have salad options but I’d probably go someplace else for a salad) biscuits, biscuits and gravy chicken biscuits and the to die for blueberry biscuit..
For 20 bucks I got a chicken biscuit meal and a six pack of blueberry biscuits and a peach cobbler. I’m not a big eater but I was only able to eat half of the chicken Biscuit and tater tots.
You will not need ketchup. You will not need mayonnaise. These things are flavorful enough to stand alone.
The chicken biscuit made my 16-year-old swear (I brought half of it home. Remember) and proclaim maybe this should be illegal and took another big bite.
It really was that good. Is it worth a 4-Hour drive? 2 hours there and back? Maybe once in a great while?

Normally, I don’t give fast food places more than a 3. However, with this particular place… due to the service I received, I am giving a 5! Great job ladies! It was my first time at a Bojangles and the ladies put together a sandwich to get my wife’s order and explained some key information.

Don’t be fooled. This is NOT a real Bojangles. This is a disrespect to the REAL Bojangles. Bojangles is famous for their fried chicken – the menu is literally just chicken tenders. This is a mere attempt to give Chick-fil-a a run for their money and I will not be running here for food. I would rather fly to the east coast and get a real Bojangles experience. Either give us the full menu or shut this place down.

I, personally, can bake homemade biscuits in 12 minutes. Last time I visited, it was going on 18 minutes while the entire place was reportedly biscuit-less. The staff has no scruples about lying, and even seem to be trained in the practice. Four different people ended up coming to the window to try to weasel their way out of accountability for being slower than a solo baker, when they have 5+ people, and all the technology and logistics of a multi-million-dollar corporation.
“Corporate just changed the way we make biscuits.”
ME: “That’s weird. How many times in the last week did corporate change your process, because this is the fourth time this has happened.”
He didn’t have anything for that, so he offered to put my chicken and sausage biscuits in dessert biscuits, with dyed sugar chunks in them. It was embarassing. I got a refund and haven’t returned, after being a north-carolina hard-line bojangles fan. for decades.
No sweet potato pie? No thank you.

Located in the TA Truckstop, the restaurant is small and often crowded. We tried the strips, fries, slaw and tea. The strips were good, tender and fresh but lacked much flavor without the dipping sauce. We were not fans of Bo Sauce, the horseradish bite was too much. The other sauces were good. They do charge extra for each additional sauce. The fries were good and the seasoning on them was nice. The slaw was good and fresh. The biscuits were fresh and fell apart when you ate them. Tea was good and very mellow. The service was good, a little overwhelmed at times. The atmosphere was ok but the floor was a mess from all the foot traffic and there’s not a lot of seating. Prices were a little on the high side.

I have been looking forward to this opening. I had gotten chicken biscuits and they were well worth the money. I just went through and ordered just tenders (5) and was $13. That is THE smallest chicken tenders I’ve ever had from anywhere. Looking at the pics of other reviews, I should have just ordered a 3 pc. They look to be about the same quantity of chicken. It will be a while before I go back. Hoping they get it together.
