It’s rare to go somewhere and have excellent service these days. But it happened today. I visited Bojangles in Olive Branch for the first time. The kids wanted chicken and I can’t do our Popeyes or KFC and Jesus chicken is closed on Sunday. We tried to order online but encountered an issue which led to me calling the store to ask a question. Usually when I do this, I quickly decide I no longer want to eat at the restaurant due to the lack of customer service. But I called, and got the most cheery and helpful employees. Decided to go on in to the store and order. I am so glad I did. Greeted when we walked in the door, kindness from every employee, attentiveness- I was floored. Ok the food won’t be good I thought. This was my very first Bojangles experience. Y’all, everything was good. Food was hot, packed with care, and my order correct. It’s so rare this happens, I decided to sit and write out this entire post about how good the experience was for us. Please go and check it out.

Ok, so I decided to give the BoJangles a chance after a friend of mine wouldn’t leave me alone about it. First thing I noticed was there’s a window inside the kitchen where you can see a lady making the biscuits by hand. That was pretty cool! Since when did BoJangles become a chicken strip restaurant? There’s no bone-in chicken! Anyway… I ordered the 5 strip combo meal, with mac-n-cheese, biscuit and a Dr Pepper. Then decided to try the peach cobbler. The food was good, but I went expecting chicken and biscuits not chicken strips. The peach cobbler is a fresh hand made biscuit with a peach pie filling type topping and a cinnamon roll icing. Not bad!

Ordered door dash for delivery. As a truck driver I just wanted to order and rest. I was shocked that my order arrived with out the requested sauce. The Mac and cheese looked like it was an afterthought with the portion size.
The chicken was good and the dirty rice was great! The biscuit was nice and fluffy.
For almost $4 for a side of Mac and cheese it was missing at least a portion size.

Not sure who was cooking today February 24th, 2026 but my chicken was amazing. The crust was flaky and the chicken was sooooooo tender. Everything in my box was fresh!!!! Kudos to the cook and staff!!!

Chicken tenders are good…HOWEVER, I wish they offered bone in!!! This is what they were famous for. Chicken tenders can be purchased ANYWHERE. A GOOD box of chicken is hard to beat. Nonetheless, I enjoy their breakfast sandwiches and kiddie meals (just enough for me). Last visit, I spent over $50 for my family of five.

Convenient location.
Very poor service. Cashier has a vacant stare and an unwelcoming facial expression. Drive thru staff said to me “WUSS DA PROLLEM” when i tried to ask a question.
I guess the typical people you’d expect to work at a Bojangles so idk why i’m surprised. Smh.
