Can’t rate the food because I’ve given up waiting in line to even get food. Drive thru and online orders seem to take precedence over guest in the lobby. I understand being short staffed but from one restaurant manager to another, definitely could have been managed better. You have more assistance/help for drive thru meanwhile you have 1 lady trying to take orders and go make them one by one. Extremely long wait time with no sense of urgency for guest walking into the establishment.

My family and I (party of 14 people!) stopped at Bojangles in Seymour, TN for the first time while traveling, and I just had to leave a review because the service was AMAZING.
Michael and Madison were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we walked in, they were warm, friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming. They helped us navigate the menu, gave great suggestions, and made ordering for such a large group feel effortless. When our food came out, they checked on us to make sure everything tasted good and that we had everything we needed.
The food was great, but the service and atmosphere are what really stood out. You could tell they truly care about their customers, and that made the experience memorable for our entire family. Exceptional customer service like that is rare these days, and it deserves to be recognized.
Huge shoutout to Michael and Madison, y’all made our first Bojangles experience one to remember. We will absolutely stop here again when we’re in town!

Michael was the best. He was really funny! I went to bojangles after church and Michael was very nice and he helped me with my order and best service ever. We had 6-7 people and we had our food in maximum 10-15 minutes.

Every time we go to get chicken they either dont have breast or they dont have thighs ! Crazy this is a chicken place . And tonight we wanted a 2 pic all white , they said sorry we dont have breast or thighs ! We can give you 6 wings with a 10% discount. And we r not cooking anymore chicken tonight at 8:40 and they close at 10:00 . So we took the 6 wings that were soooo dryed out ! We love boganels and its ashame that we have to drive all the way to maryville to get good chicken ! When we would love to eat at the Boganels in Seymour where we live and could support local business!!!! The staff r very nice ! Just poorly ran !!!

Don’t expect service in the lobby as long as there are people in the drive thru. My whole family of 5 went to the restroom and then waited at the counter for 10 minutes. There was one other person seated in the lobby. No one even acknowledged us until my husband raised a fuss about the lack of service after I had given up and taken all the kids back out to the car. He was then very rudely informed that “drive thru customers come first.” The lack of professionalism and decent customer service was appalling.

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this place is the exception. I understand that sometimes places get overwhelmed or short staffed, but it’s been nothing but negative experiences here. The last 3 times I have placed curb side pick ups, I have waited over 35 minutes for the food to come out. When I have asked why, I always get the same responses back, “we were waiting on chicken or we were waiting on fries”. Well today I got my order and decided to check it because it took 40 minutes to get to me, and of course a biscuit was missing from my order. So I circle around the drive through and argue with the employee at the counter about which biscuit and what kind of biscuit I’m missing because I guess she didn’t believe me? So then she says “it’ll take about 4.5 minutes for the biscuit to be ready” and pulled me forward. So finally after 10 minutes of waiting, a different employee brings out a bag and says “did you have the gravy and biscuit?”…. So I explained I only needed a normal biscuit (which I already had to explain to the girl at the window 4 other times because she continues to argue with me). So she runs back inside to get it, and after waiting another 5 minutes for her to return I eventually just leave. I know all of this sounds like minor inconveniences but when it happens time and time again at this location, it gets to a point where it needs to be addressed. The staff is never in a hurry, they always get orders wrong, the food is hardly ever fresh even though I usually have to wait 30 minutes for it, and I have been met with smart remarks and attitude multiple times. Overall this is not only the worst bojangles I have visited, but possibly the worst fast food restaurant I have ever visited, and I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon. I would save your money and an hour of your time and eat elsewhere. And also, I wouldn’t recommend placing curbside orders here because in a past visit, the person who delivered my order to me was visibly upset. When I asked how her day was going to be polite, I was met with the comment “well if you people wouldn’t make so many curbside orders it would be better. Then I wouldn’t have to run around all day trying to get things done” and then turns and walks away. Again, it’s been terrible experience after terrible experience, and I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but this place either needs a management change or a new staff. Possibly even both. And the best part is, some person/AI is just going to reply to this review with “We want to hear from our customers so we can continuously learn and grow” or “we are disheartened to hear about your recent visit, and would like to hear more” with a link to an email which they won’t reply to either, and of course nothing will be addressed or changed because sadly this is just standard practice here.

We eat at this location at least 3 times a week. This morning we were at the counter to order and the “acting manager” came out to let us know that they only had 4 people working and the drive-thru was backed up; so if we wanted to wait, it would be a while (there were 6 customers in line). I asked if that meant that the drive thru had to be cleared before we would be waiting on and he said YES. That’s no way to keep customers. Why are drive thru customers more important than those that take the time to come inside and dine? Short handed – ok we get that – just let everyone know it may be a longer wait than normal and to please be patient. DON’T tell them that they are less important than those sitting in the drive thru

Amazing service and the food is also great. There’s a worker there named Jesse and he’s just an amazing person and it’s always a pleasure to have him tame the order. The service can be slow at times but overall a great place I usually come in on Saturdays when I’m at the park and it’s refreshing to stop by and eat something.

Everytime I have been here in the recent months my order has been wrong or missing items. The staff is checked out, seemingly lost and uninterested which is fine as long as i’m not paying for missing items, EVERY TRIP. At this point, it’s my own fault for coming here.
