LIVING LIFE BY DESIGN LYDIA
I have to give this review because I’m very disappointed in the service I just received today. I frequent this restaurant at least once a week in the morning to get breakfast. That staff during the morning hours is usually pretty good.
Today I stopped to get a Cajun biscuit and some french fries on my way home from work.
There was only three employees in the store. Two men and one woman. I received my food and noticed that my fries were very old. They were very crispy no potato in the middle and they actually snap when you pop them in half. I knew that these were old fries are either re- dipped in the grease to make hot.
I’m not angry I just came inside and I wanted to ask for fresh fries. All three employees saw me come in. It was not a busy time there were several senior men sitting in the lobby. But there was no customers in the Drive-Thru or no one in line. I waited over 5 minutes.. I finally decided to say excuse me. Now he gentleman which I know now as a shift manager named DJ just waited on me prior in the Drive-Thru I was surprised that he would not acknowledge me. I said excuse me, and the young lady leaned around and said what? I said can I get some help. She then start yelling DJ, someone wants you up here.
DJ comes up and instead of coming to me he goes to her and she pointed to me.
I then started explaining to DJ that my fries were not fresh and I wanted fresh fries. He tried to tell me that they were. They were old and dry.
I took them out of the bag and showed them. He walked away went to the corner he was there for about 2 minutes and then brought out a little small silver container with just a little fries in them and start to put them in a another box. Now anyone with common sense knows that if fries were freshly dropped that they would be a little wet from Grease and not completely dry to touch. These fries look exactly like the ones I previously had. I go to him and I said I came in here very nicely and just ask for fresh fries no one has acknowledged me no one has apologized or asked can I get you anything. As if I was annoying you for coming in and asking for what I paid for. I worked in that industry more than 30 years ago and it’s sad the decline of customer service. And the level of quality of food that you receive now. I the ask him was he the shift manager he said yes and then I asked who was the store manager. He said Clift. I then told him I would call Cliff tomorrow.
I then decided to just try to impart some wisdom on the young man and share with him the benefit of professionalism and customer service.
This is why we are often judged because the lack of concern or care, he was very nonchalant. Even when I told him no one even apologized or said ma’am I’ll help you as soon as I can he just looked at me as if I was annoying him. It’s quite sad that a lot of companies now just hire people with no real customer service training. The way that the young lady address me was certainly unprofessional. And the way that all three of them saw me standing there but no one decided to say ma’am what can I help you with. I did throw the second fries away because I wasn’t willing to eat something that I know that had been sitting for quite a while. Here is a fry that was in my bag. They all look this way but he was trying to say they were fresh. The biscuit was also cold. I’m very disappointed in the people that represent me as a race and the lack of training, that seems to be the norm now in fast food. I’m doing this review in hopes that people will take pride in their company and try to hire people that they believe will represent their business properly.

I live on the west coast and I’ve been eating Bojangles since I was a child growing up in Charlotte, North Carolina. And even though they don’t have Bojangles in the Pacific Northwest over the past few years, a lot of my family members have been complaining about the quality of the food and the service at Bojangles. And that’s a shame I find because it’s actually one of the first places I go eat when I come to the South. When I entered the Bojangles there was no one up front. They were all in the back doing something so there was not a soul in sight until this one lady who was on break called everybody up and said hey… There’s a customer out here. After that a young lady who appeared to be the manager came out to take my order and then she was fixing my food while she was actually on her personal cell phone unless Bojangles gives out cell phones. The chicken was good but I did notice that the leg was colder like warm and the thigh was hot so it must have just came off the grill. Not too long before I got there. The Cajun pintos were excellent. The bread was good but the dirty rice felt kind of mushy so I did not finish it. Inside the restaurant was actually super clean so I give props for that. But I did go use the bathroom on the way out cuz I want to wash my hands since I had chicken stuff on them and there was no soap in the men’s bathroom. I worked at Kentucky fried Chicken growing up when I was in high school and customer service is very important and the appearance of cleanliness to the customers is very important so I hope Bojangles gets back to that.

My husband picked up dinner and had to wait around 20 minutes. He was told the wait was for fresh fries to come out. These are the worst fries we have ever had. Absolutely nothing freshly cooked about them. I wouldn’t be shocked if they were day old fries. Tasted like they had been cooked and recooked more than once. So hard we just threw them away.

Terrible service. Cars in line for 5-8 mins without getting the order. Went inside just to wait in line that again does not move. Girl at the front looks lost. They help people about every 5-8mins. If you come here expect to wait a while. No greeting no eye contact. Just Terrible. Won’t be back. Owner don’t respond just get better workers.

*****Update on the service. *** I came in around 2 this afternoon. No one was at the counter. I heard a voice say someone will be with you.
The a person was walking up to the register saying dine or take out. She got to the register and just stared at me. I gave her my order , she gave me my receipt. I went to the end of the counter and she sled the tray at me. I asked about a drink, she said it doesn’t come with one. To my surprise. I thought they did we ith the meals. Anyway, I was going to order one but she was already leaving the counter.
The receipt said her name was Domonique. As she was the rudest employee I have ever dealt with. I will think twice about eating inside next time.

Decided to make a visit to the Highway 58 Bojangles location and was a good experience. The exterior of the restaurant was extremely clean and looks brand new however the inside was a little bit dirty and my biscuit was not completely cooked. I ordered a country ham egg and cheese biscuit with an orange juice and my brother had a Cajun filet combo with hash browns. I would return the service was quick and as expected

I so want to give a 0 star for the young lady checking us out. She was the rudest and most uncompassionate person I have ever encountered!!! I greeted her and she literally said what do you want?!!
I have a speech impediment due to have my tongue removed from cancer, and I totally get that she did not know this, BUT when someone with a speech impediment orders a steak biscuit and she literally says a space biscuit and laughs and says I don’t know what that is, I say it again Steak biscuit, and she says a fake biscuit and then laughs again before saying what is that????? That was the rudest thing that has ever happen to me! All she had to say was excuse me, could you please repeat that…..but she did not. She just made fun of my speech. She could absolutely tell I had a speech impediment and my husband even told here my order and she continued to make fun of my speech. I so sorry she is freaking miserable with her job, but when you are literally laughing at someone’s speech, that is unacceptable! She absolutely should not be working with the public and I just want her to know how humiliated she made me feel!
