The Bojangles in Lutz, FL is absolutely fantastic! Since it just opened, everything is spotless and extremely clean, and you can tell the staff takes a lot of pride in keeping the restaurant looking great. The layout is bright, welcoming, and well-organized, making it a really pleasant place to dine in or grab food to go.
The food was excellent — hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the biscuits were warm and buttery, and the sides were just as good. Everything came out quickly and tasted like it was made with care, not rushed.
The staff here is outstanding. Everyone was friendly, upbeat, and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Even being newly opened, the team was well-trained and efficient, which really stood out.
If you’re in the Lutz area, this Bojangles is a must-visit. Great food, great service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere make it an easy five-star experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I was a little worried due to the reviews but in all honesty everything was good and fresh. All my food was hot and the order was correct. I will say I got here at a good time and didn’t have to wait that long, but if the line was over an hour like others were mentioning I would not wait in that. Overall everything was really good.

Newly opened and still crazy busy , not worth the wait for another plain fried chicken tender that needs a dipping sauce take out place when there are several other similar chicken take outs close by like Dave’s hot chicken , Raising Canes , Chic Fil A , Mr Magoo’s , KFC & PDQ , & Popeyes !
Just facts and Not bashing BoJangles .

Overall, not a great experience at this new Bojangles location. The young lady taking our order was just rude. The food was tasty for the most part..especially if you love extra extra salty fries..but can we talk about the Mac N Cheese for a second… there was like none in the cup. Literally got a half portion and it looked like it had been sitting for hours. Disappointing experience overall.

If I’m going to spend at least $30 to $40 at a fast food place, please get my stuff correct. Got my kids orders incorrect. Still have to feed my children somehow even though I bought food from your restaurant.

Been here now 4 times since the opening. The first 2 times the chicken was Outstanding. Easily the best tenders arround hands down. Cooked fresh and simply perfect… The 3rd time (a Thursday at 6pm), there was Noone inside and no cars in the drive thru. Service and staff nice as always however the tenders were HORRIBLE. Dry, warm and seemed like they been sitting for 30 minutes. Same with the normally really good fries… Next visit (last thrusday at 6) everything was the same… No one there and old tasting tenders and fries…. My theory is the 1st two visits were with 14 days of opening so we had food prepared by a Bojangles “opening crew”. And that’s why everything is was so good.. Now we are dealing with the actual local staff… Not sure (probaly won’t) we will give this another shot as we spend $70 for tenders that our family never finished because they simply suck. This lack of customers (place had lines the 1st two weeks) really confirms this review.

Just opened yesterday and they have been absolutely hammered with customers nonstop. Yes, the lines are long and yes, a few mistakes are happening, but it is very clear the team is doing the absolute best they can under intense pressure.
You can see the effort, the hustle, and the genuine desire from the staff to get things right. Opening week for a place this popular is never easy, and they are dealing with crowds that would challenge even a seasoned crew.
I really appreciate how hard everyone is trying. A little patience and understanding from customers goes a long way. If you are planning to come during the first few days, plan accordingly and expect longer waits, crowded lines, and slower service. That is normal and expected for a brand new opening.
Huge respect to the team for pushing through and staying positive. Things will smooth out quickly once the opening rush settles. Glad to have Bojangles in the area. Welcome.
