Boise Fry Company is a uniquely Idahoan restaurant serving organic fries, original sauces, an array of hand-crafted seasonings, juicy burgers, and more! Whether you’re searching for a quick, healthy meal option, or want to grab a beer and sit for a while, we’ve got you covered. BFC sources the finest and freshest potatoes available from Kings Crown Organic Farms in Idaho. All of our potatoes are never frozen or processed! They are served unsalted so you get to choose from any of our homemade seasonings and dipping sauces. We obtain bison locally from Brown’s Buffalo Ranch, and beef from Double R Ranch and Snake River Farms. Our menu includes a kids menu, sandwiches, milkshakes, side dishes, gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

I took the first bite of my burger and was immediately smacked in the face by the odd tasting pickle, which I’m pretty sure was house made. It had some weird overpowering mustardy type of sweet flavor that completely smashed any chance of me ever tasting the under seasoned patty that was sacrificed by some poor cow who gave its life in vain for this travesty of a burger. Couple that with the “something is wrong with this lettuce, but I can’t quite place it” feeling makes me think I should have just ordered it with onions only. Even the bun’s topside failed to ever see the griddle leaving it cold and dry (Pro tip: A little butter then 30 seconds on the flat top isn’t rocket science). I mean just running it through a toaster would have been great. Speaking of buns, the GF bun my wife had ordered literally fell apart on the second bite, and probably for the same toasty reason (see pic). I told her to return it, but she is tough so she grabbed a knife and fork to finish off what now appeared to be roadkill that lost a cage fight with a flock of vultures.
The texture of the fries were greasy and lacked crispness, I’m guessing because they are fresh cut and the cook skipped the blanching step before frying. Boise “Fry” Company, really?
The sauces were mostly forgettable, except the signature Boise fry sauce, which rolled up like a three-act tragedy: Act I: weird tangy promise. Act II: straight ketchup boredom. Act III: spicy kick that felt like an apology for the first two acts. The tangy part tasted suspiciously like the evil pickle’s cousin, so my taste buds filed a formal complaint and went on strike.
Anyway, total waste of prime stomach space. My gut is currently in mourning and has canceled dinner plans.

I CANNOT believe how SMALL these burgers got!!! Omgosh! I AM NOT going back. That is absolutely ridiculous you guys!!! My mom, sister, daughter and i came in today and they have never been before. I bragged you up about how big your burgers were and that we could just split the fries between 2 of us, that is no longer true and the fries were cold and hard REALLY fast! I’m not impressed at all. This really sucks. I cannot believe how you guys just keep downsizing then raising the prices! I’m so over you guys. You aren’t that great. 5 guys is WAY better and more value for the money. I hope you get shut down over this crap. You list 4 customers today and many more in the future. I will never say another good thing about you.

This was my first time trying this place out. Most definitely did not disappoint. Burgers are so good! They have many different options as well for kids! The staff was very friendly. My family and I got our food pretty quick. I definitely rate this place 10/10

The last two times I went here my fries were burned. This time my fries were undercooked, I asked them for a new order and I received another soggy barely cooked batch. The place was not busy so its not like they were in a rush. My chicken sandwich was also dry. For the price you pay I would expect the best fries ever but this place has been such a disappointment the last few times. I would not recommend this place. At least not this location.

The food was absolutely disgusting. We ordered 5 meals and none of us liked what we were served. Blueberry ketchup was atrocious and the wagyu beef burgers were drier than day old biscuits. Not even the pickles were good. Atmosphere is not friendly nor welcoming. Highly disappointed.

Soggy fries, greasy soggy not flavorful fries. Definitely not worth $8 for these. Like these are the kind of fries that you make at your own house when you get that great idea to try to make your own fries and they never end up crispy like the store, just soggy greasy mess. Yeah, that’s these fries….and I paid $8 for them.
The atmosphere was fun sitting up on the roof. The different seasonings and sauces were fun. But like other reviewers, not good food.

Neat place. Great variety of burgers. Their rooftop patio is super cool. We will definitely come back again. Huckleberry beer was cool. And they have a great variety of sauces.

The employees are awesome, especially the kitchen crew at the Nampa location. Their gluten free and vegan options are much appreciated and taste wonderful. The cooks, Sabrina and Zaide (hopefully I spelled that correctly) and Payton are so amazing and make me feel welcome every time along with being very accommodating with my gluten allergy. Delicious food, great people, somewhere that accommodates allergies, the Nampa location gets an A++ from me and my Mom who are now going to be regulars.
