My first time trying hot pot with Boiling Point. Not many options to choose from but the food is great ❣️ I like the house flavor the most. They have mutton, seafood, beef, vegetables only option, and a super spicy option. I think I will stay away from that one as I can’t get a less spicy ️ version. Definitely for those who prefer spicy stuff.

· famous taiwanese restaurant in LA known for their signature mini hot pot

· came for their lunch special prices that was 20$ including tax as of July 2025 (comes with FREE winter melon tea or green tea)

· the seafood hot pot was filled to the top with vegetables + finished with a raw egg

· loved the spicy beef hot soup (good flavor + lots of ingredients like tofu and napa cabbage)

· i took advantage of their free soup refill at least three times

· wish there were more seasonal promotion because its considered very pricey these days

tldr: good hot pot thats worth when you come for lunch special

Came in after a late public hearing in Pomona and we’re lucky this place was still open. We walked in about 25 minutes before they closed at 11 PM. We noticed the restaurant signage on the building was out so we almost missed the suite. We were seated right away- probably 3 other tables in there with patrons. One of my favorite Taiwanese hot pot restaurant. The menus are on the end of the tables on a pull-cord. Pull and scan and I appreciate the card was not sticky. Got waters right away while we were looking at the menu. Not our first time at a Boiling Point so we knew what we wanted. Husband got Milk Cream Curry and I got the Beef. Probably got our orders within 5 minutes after ordering. My favorite dipping sauce is the Garlic Soy – there are a total of 4 sauces labeled in both English and what I presume to be Chinese.

My beef soup had a very generous serving of beef and it was very good quality- you could taste it in the meat. I ordered my soup with rice and husband got noodles which comes packaged separately for you to drop into your soup and cook. All the vegetables were so good when they were cooked in the soup- even the corn.

They did a last call at 11 PM which was nice because most restaurants do it 10 to 15 minutes before they close. We didn’t get anything else but they were nice enough to fill up our waters for us and turned off our burners upon request. When they dropped off the check they also gave us the Lemon jelly snack.

Overall I liked the cleanliness of the restaurant and was extremely pleased with the service we got even though it was right around closing. We walked out around 11:10 and did not feel rushed to finish and leave.

a popular spot for Taiwanese mini hot pots, and it’s easy to see why it’s always bustling, especially on weekends. Be prepared to wait in line, but checking in at the kiosk helps streamline the process. Once inside, you’ll notice the space is a bit snug, but the cozy vibe adds to the charm.

Their lunch sets are a great deal, and they even include a fresh drink. However, I found the winter melon tea to be overly sweet, which made it a bit hard to enjoy.
just maybe skip the tea if you’re not into super sweet drinks.

My family has been here many times, but this was my first visit. The food was great, and we all tried different flavors. We went on a Saturday, so the wait was almost 2 hours, just a heads-up if you plan to come on a weekend. Be prepared, but it’s worth the wait!

This is the Chino Hills outlet of the hotpot chain restaurant Boiling Point. Their selling point is that you get your own pot of their favorite stews with set of toppings such as beef or lamb and also Korean, Taiwanese or Thai soup bases. You are also asked what level of spiciness you desire. Medium is plenty spicy so be aware if you choose more spicy levels. They have lunch set menu which is a dollar less than dinner and they give you a choice of green tea or winter melon tea. Their four sauces on the table are quite decent. I like their green pepper chili sauce. You can add extra meats and other toppings with extra dollars. It’s an efficient and simple dining experience for those of you who like Asian spicy flavors. Parking is plenty in the strip mall.

Food is always good, but the service is not. They’re prioritizing people who came and joined the waitlist later than us just because we have a bigger party of 4. There were a couple of open tables for a good 30mins and they weren’t calling people in to get the line moving.

Update: we finally got seated after more than an hour… and surprise surprise, it’s not lunch time anymore we got here before 2pm and got seated past 3pm, and they’re not honoring the lunch time promo and price. Lmao

Wow! We had such an amazing experience at this BP tonight. The menu and food quality is so amazing, but what blew me away tonight was the outstanding, very sweet, and attentive service. The staff was so friendly and kind and they were all so, SO helpful with everything. They all work so hard to make sure your drinks are always filled, broth is topped off, and anything else you could possibly need. I definitely recommend this location, and if you have not tried BP before, trust me when I say that you will not regret it.

With the weather getting colder, we decided to visit Boiling Point, which specializes in Taiwanese hot soup.

We went with the most popular dish and ordered the beef hot soup with medium heat. We also ordered a side of veggies and white rice.

Temperature wise, the soup comes out hot and stays hot. The spice level was just right and had my nose running at times. It had lots of veggies, mushrooms, thinly sliced beef, fish cake, thin noodles – there was a lot in that bowl. The broth was also good, and the staff would add more as requested. The veggies were also good, esp with the rice and some of the garlic chilli sauce sitting on every table. That garlic chili sauce would be good on just about anything.

The restaurant itself is small and kind of cold, but it heats up once soup hits your lips. One recommendation — maybe lower the music volume a bit. It wasn’t bad, just kinda loud.

Prices are fair and staff were friendly and attentive.

Probably 4.2-4.4 ⭐. Service is okay but don’t expect too much because it has 1-2 trainee on the board. Lunch specials are good with a small black or green tea for free. The food is excellent, and House Special, Lamb, and Milk Cream Curry definitely must try in my opinion. Come back as usual if I am not willing to try other Taiwanese hot pot places.
