Other than that, we loved their Daddy sauce. It tasted so good. I do recommend ordering some noodles, rice, or bread to soak up the remain sauce in the pan. The lobster and everything else are all properly cooked.
Service was friendly although not so attentive.
Let’s start off with when we walked in, stood at the door with not a single staff member in sight, decided the bar was where we should sit , ten minutes later someone came from the kitchen , to greet more people at the door , gave them drinks and food before we were even asked for beverages . They must not have a liquor license since all they sell is beer and wine , displayed on the back of their napkin dispenser .. we ordered water which came in a plastic cup!!!!! Our “food” came out , no silver ware , no plates , we asked for salt for the bland food and the sever/bartender/host/cook came and gave us a salt and pepper mixture … I had to go commandeer my own cutlery , found a rack of plastic forks ?? And to top it off as we were leaving , we saw them getting a delivery from a frozen food delivery company! Come on California you are 15 mins from the water and use frozen seafood!!!?????
For our first visit, we got a mix of head on shrimp and snow crab legs in the daddy sauce at the hottest level. The spice heat level is not nearly as strong as Boiling Crab so honestly I would suggest everyone just get the hottest sauce level because it really isn’t that hot (and I say this as a western white guy). Everything that we ordered was cooked as we liked and aside from the slow drink refills we had a great meal. I would suggest to any fan of peeled shrimp, although just be aware that this place is more geared toward to go orders.
You can eat special is worth it. I watched the game, had a beer, and did the all you can eat option. Food coma zzzzz. Will definitely be back. I took some food to go also!
Great spot over all!
