I love cajun seafood! This place is great for seafood plate with a lot of flavors. My friend didn’t really eat much usually but this time she ate like going to an AYCE. The flavor is just right and not too salty or spicy. The rice plates are also really good. Servers are very friendly. They tried to converse with us. Great vibe and wonderful food!

Wonderful experience. They patiently waited for the party to arrive. Tended to all of our needs and served great food. Crab legs were clean, not a bit smelly and delicious. Amazing experience. If I’m in the area, I’ll definitely hit this joint.

Actually should be 4.5* for charging us more on the bill.
Other than that, we loved their Daddy sauce. It tasted so good. I do recommend ordering some noodles, rice, or bread to soak up the remain sauce in the pan. The lobster and everything else are all properly cooked.
Service was friendly although not so attentive.

I’d leave all ZERO stars if I could. All these good reviews must be from family members or friends of the establishment because not only is the food unflavored , the seasoning “sauce” was chunky , bland and just plain gross. Alllll of the seafood was FROZEN!!
Let’s start off with when we walked in, stood at the door with not a single staff member in sight, decided the bar was where we should sit , ten minutes later someone came from the kitchen , to greet more people at the door , gave them drinks and food before we were even asked for beverages . They must not have a liquor license since all they sell is beer and wine , displayed on the back of their napkin dispenser .. we ordered water which came in a plastic cup!!!!! Our “food” came out , no silver ware , no plates , we asked for salt for the bland food and the sever/bartender/host/cook came and gave us a salt and pepper mixture … I had to go commandeer my own cutlery , found a rack of plastic forks ?? And to top it off as we were leaving , we saw them getting a delivery from a frozen food delivery company! Come on California you are 15 mins from the water and use frozen seafood!!!?????

I am a diehard fan of Boiling Crab, but I live very close to this Boil Daddy location so we wanted to try DD for our first time and we were very impressed. It’s very similar to all the other pull and peel shrimp places in that you choose your seafood, your sauce, and heat level and then they bring it out to you in a bag where you then get messy and eat the entire bag on the table southern style. I would say the pricing here is very fair, and the portion sizes are as advertised. They have a large bar inside as well as many tables but even their own website states they are more oriented toward to go orders so dining so that’s probably why the service is slower compared to other shrimp places. Our server was polite but we barely saw him during our entire meal even though it was not crowded when we stopped in for a late Sunday dinner.

For our first visit, we got a mix of head on shrimp and snow crab legs in the daddy sauce at the hottest level. The spice heat level is not nearly as strong as Boiling Crab so honestly I would suggest everyone just get the hottest sauce level because it really isn’t that hot (and I say this as a western white guy). Everything that we ordered was cooked as we liked and aside from the slow drink refills we had a great meal. I would suggest to any fan of peeled shrimp, although just be aware that this place is more geared toward to go orders.

Definitely a solid option if you’re craving a Cajun seafood boil on the Westside. I went with one of their combos that came with lobster, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage. Portions were fair and it’s nice that you can customize the spice level and add extras like eggs or more seafood. The wings were also a surprise standout and the cajun were fire. We also got Daddy’s Noods which is pasta tossed in their Cajun butter sauce, really good. The space itself is casual but a little nicer than your average boil spot, and there’s a big parking lot which makes it convenient. Prices aren’t cheap, but you get a decent amount of food for what you’re paying.

Came with family for Valentines day and again today. Both times great service by our server Luis and the rest of the staff. Delicious seafood boils and other great options to choose from incase you dont like seafood like my wife. If you like some heat I highly recommend the daddy sauce with OMG spice level.

Great spot over all!

This place is actually fantastic for crab boil, recommended. Expectations were exceeded, even though they were short handed that day the service was still good and food came out faster than expected.
