Bogey’s is hands down my favorite spot in Venice for wings. Their Wednesday wing special is unbeatable, and it’s always worth the wait when I go. The atmosphere can be a bit chaotic, but to be fair, people come here to watch games, so it makes sense. Great flavor and always worth coming back for

Place looks good. Buffalo chicken bites appetizer was good. Mac and cheese with buffalo bites on top was a better deal. Captains platter was good, shrimp were good but the fish didn’t hit like it should. Hard to say why. Seems like a good place to watch a game but it was fairly subdued and quiet for MNF. That’s not a bad thing.

We stopped in at Bogey’s Sports Pub in Venice, Florida and ordered a pizza and a couple of drinks. The pizza came out only warm in the middle—not hot—and the bottom could’ve been cooked longer. We asked for green olives, but instead of slicing them, they just tossed whole ones on top.
I ordered their special salted caramel old-fashioned, which came in a small glass barely bigger than a shot glass and packed with ice—definitely not worth the price. My wife ordered a wine that she ended up sending back, so we switched to beer instead, which felt like the safer choice.
The pizza flavor itself wasn’t bad, just underwhelming and could use some improvement. Service was okay, but overall the experience didn’t match the cost or expectations.

Convenient stop for a bite or a drink if you can find parking. Do not get the nachos, they were terrible. Wings were good. The $20 chicken dish was subpar. I suppose they don’t need to make great food since they are so well located and get tons of traffic. Desserts were quite interesting. They made a couple of mistakes on our order and it could have been the server or the kitchen, but the server was extremely nice which made up for some of the rest of the experience.

We are frequents at Bogeys. It’s great that we can go to a sport’s bar & I’m able to get gluten free food. I’ve never gotten sick which means the kitchen takes GF pretty seriously. My favorites are the hamburger & chicken chipotle bowl. I wish they had GF tortilla chips so I could order an appetizer.
My husband loves the wings & burgers. He does not have an issue with gluten.
Sierra is a great! Very friendly and takes good care of her customers. In general, Bogey’s team is friendly & helpful.

Lydia was awesome, great energy. Everytime me and my girlfriend are here we have a great time. Tonight it was kinda empty so it was pretty relaxed instead of the normal. Burger was good, drinks were good. Thanks bogeys, you guys rock!

Great sports bar, wings are awesome and the potato skins are great. My favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich. It’s the best in the area. Huge chicken breast with you choice of sauce, just delicious. Full bar, cold beer, one of our go to places.

I have been to Bogeys several times and so far never a bad experience. The food is always great especially the wings and believe it or not the pizza is much better than I expected. The service is always quick and the servers are delightful. On game days it does get a bit loud but it is after all a sports pub
On wing night the wait is always long and the parking a pain so we tend to avoid it. It’s been a local favorite for years for a reason
Highly recommended
