A really fun place, with full bar and patio if that’s your thing. The upper deck overlooks the lake.
The atmosphere is really fun, and the servers were fantastic. I went outside my usual in food selection, so this may be more my fault than the restaurant’s, but I was hoping for more flavor. I ordered the French onion soup, which was a little bland for me. I also ordered the fish sandwich. I loved their homemade tarter, and the fries were also delicious. The fish itself fell a little flat for me.
My husband had a pineapple upside down martini which he really liked (and he is not a huge martini fan). He ordered the Philly cheesesteak, which he thought was very tasty, and he also enjoyed his fries.
We did also order dessert. Hubby had the creme brulee cheesecake, which he really enjoyed. I was interested in the 2-layer peanut butter cup chocolate cake. The server definitely thought this was a sharable, and advised it is really rich. We’ll try it out next time. I went with Bogey’s fudge bomb which was delicious.
The menu is large, and it looks like they have daily specials. We’ll definitely give it another go (or two).

This was recommended by the hotel we were staying at and it was a real gem! Everyone was so kind and the atmosphere with all the signed pictures, Bogey and MarilynMo row memorabilia was wonderful. The Chicken Marsala was tender and the shepherd’s pie was delicious and huge! Definitely will go there again next time I am in the area.

Think back to your favorite neighbors when you were a kid. Your best friend is their son or daughter. Growing up and hanging out at their house you always felt like one of their kids. Welcome to Bogey’s. It’s not a local restaurant, it’s not a tourist restaurant, it just feels like a second home. The couple that owns the joint are the parents you wish you had, only cooler. Their house is a cinema lovers dream. They have seen the coolest movies, and have been to some very cool places, and it’s written all over their walls. After I spent 30 minutes touring their house, while sipping brown liquid, I sat down for dinner. Now I really want to live there. I ate the leftovers three days later, and their food was still as amazing as when it was delivered to my table.

Great food, great staff and wonderful ambiance. I think this place is a 5 star place to eat and hang out. Downstairs bar and restaurant is a little more formal and the upstairs area is more laid back and casual. Nice upstairs patio which is out doors. Must eats include friend green tomatoes, house salads and fresh bread and butter. Owner operated and a excellent food quality and presentation. Live music Saturday nights from 6PM to 9PM. Say hi to Brie, Brittany and Michele the owner. They are a friendly and professional staff that makes everyone feel welcome!

We came for the first time this evening. They have musicians playing every Saturday evening. They had (Christon Birge and Katie Spillman playing this evening who were absolutely incredible.)
The ambiance was amazing, very quaint restaurant with such a great atmosphere. It’s a 30 minute ride from Santa Rosa Beach/30A, well worth the drive. Make a reservation because it was crowded. It will be my new go to bar/restaurant on Saturdays from now on. The owner Michelle was so hospitable and kind. We also had a great server also named Michelle. Service was stupendous, and everything we ordered was delicious. Prices are incredibly reasonable compared to 30A. Definitely a must try! You won’t be disappointed…

Impeccable service from the moment we walked through the door, great atmosphere, and fantastic food. We forgot to take photos of our entrées but did get one of dessert. We will definitely be back if we ever travel through Defuniak Springs again.

I will note that it is deceptive .. I expected to have some confusion since there are 2 entries .. but given the set up, I just scanned the place and saw a hostess stand and walked over there easily enough.
When I went, there was a good number of open tables, so no wait at that point. Asked for my choice of drink upon sitting down, ice tea came within a little bit.
Now with that said, wasn’t quite sure what salad plate was with burger, so for me that was interesting to say the least. Presentation good, burger with cheese and bacon cooked properly, I just kind of moved things around to enjoy salad by itself.
A little slow on ice tea refills and also on getting service check processed
Other than that decor is relaxing, fits theme and includes touches for halloween.
This is more of adult spot to dine at.
