Bogey’s is locally owned and operated since 1982. Bogey’s started in the old Tasty Freeze with 5lbs of hamburger, a small container of curly fries and 3 shake flavors.
Needing to expand to keep up with their customers needs, Bogey’s moved to their new building next door in 1999.
To this day Bogey’s commitment to providing the customer only the best ingredients and prepared fresh to order remains true.
Bogey’s is PROUD to have been voted best burger in Salina for numerous years. Keeping up with customers requests Bogey’s has grown to over 101 shake flavors!
Bogey’s continues to be a family owned and operated business for 3 generations and still believes to this day Find and serve the best ingredients available and NEVER cut on quality

Nice place with perfect patio seating. Cashier was very friendly and upbeat. My husband had a hamburger burger and liked it. But is small, so recommend the double. Price are very reasonable. They have curly fries, but they were not hot or fresh. Since the burger and fry were not enough he ordered a vanilla shake and said it was really good. I had the tenderloin sandwich and unfortunately it was overcooked and dry. I think if it had been cooked correctly it would have been really good. The drive through line was constant and the same with the inside line, indicating a local favorite.

Well now, let me tell ya, this place is a heckuva deal if I’ve ever seen one. You just can’t beat that with a stick. Tell ya what, that’s a five-star operation right there, lip-smackin’, finger-lickin’, belt-loosin’ good. Prices so fair it’s like they’re losin’ money just to make you happy. They don’t make places like this anymore, and that’s a darn shame. If you leave hungry, that’s on you, pal. Good folks, good food, good times, can’t ask for much more than that. Now that’s what I call Midwest hospitality. Five stars? I’d give six if Google let me. If this ain’t the best spot north of the Mississippi, I’ll eat my hat. You can tell they put a little love and elbow grease into it. Stopped in on a whim, left with a full belly and a happy heart. Worth the drive, even if it’s snowin’ sideways. Clean as a whistle and twice as friendly. Good grief, I’ll be back faster than you can say hotdish. It’s got that small-town charm you just can’t fake. They treat ya like family, and not the weird cousin kind, either. If your grandma ran a restaurant, it’d taste just like this.

I went here last week for some grub with my friends. I had the regular hamburger with BBQ sauce and a banana shake, and it was very good. The napkins at this restaurant are SO soft. It’s insane. Seriously, I can’t get over how silky they feel between my fingers. They feel like a warm baby blanket sewn with silk and, like, butter, somehow. That probably doesn’t make any sense, but whatever. I brought some extras home. I will be coming back to this place.

I was sent to try the shakes, and they did not disappoint!
The restaurant features a red roof with a magnificent golden crystal chandelier and old Hollywood adorning the walls.
The fries were really good, and the portion was nice.
I got pb n banana, and it was thick for hours before I could finish it, and it reinforced the nostalgia which was nice.

Wow! It is amazing!! The food tastes so good, and the shakes are delicious. We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Basket, Fries, Oreo Shake and Strawberry Cheesecake Shake.
We went on a busy hour, and the services were great. The guys were faster, kindly and friendly.
The place is small, but very cute and comfortable. The bathroom was clean.

I used to eat at Bogey’s back in the 1990s, back in their old even smaller location. Back then they were a proper restaurant, they had over 100 flavors of shake and malts, great burgers excellent fries, and good chicken. I moved away and had not been to bogey’s for at least 25 years. The Wednesday before thanksgiving I went with my wife. It was the best food I have had in years. Exactly as I remembered. Unlike nearly every other restaurant I remember from that time, Bogey’s has not deteriorated at all. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with large fries, and a cherry shake. I received an excellent cheeseburger, with plentiful thick cut bacon, well cooked fries, (and an actual large serving, not what passes for large everywhere else) and a darn fine shake. I highly recommend Bogey’s for real food.

I recently dined at Bogey’s and had a mixed experience. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary. The service was attentive and friendly, which I appreciated. However, the atmosphere felt a bit dated and could use some refreshing. Overall, it was an okay visit, but I’m not sure if I’d rush back.

5 stars, 10/10 would recommend. Service was amazing!! Don’t know his name but shout out to younger curly brown haired boy that helped me and my mom out. Food is delicious, serving size is big!! (he suggested fried chicken sandwich and it is amazing!) And it’s very beautiful with a very nice patio area. Will be here again if we get the chance!! From out of town and this was great.

Bogey’s is the kind of timeless, hometown, restaurant that you hope will never close. It’s a place I go out of my way to visit every time I’m back in town.
The food is always amazing, (and you get way more fries than you think you deserve), there’s always smiles behind the counter and you can’t beat the value. And there’s a surprisingly large menu to choose from, and while I haven’t had anything I didn’t like, the humble cheeseburger is probably my favorite.
There’s a drive through, call ahead, and seating inside, but as you can imagine they can be very busy/popular during lunch hours, so plan accordingly!
I’ve lived all over the Midwest and East Coast, and Bogey’s is my all time favorite restaurants. Period.
