Great customer service, very friendly and welcoming staff. We tried the tip and link combo w/mix (hot & mild sauce) The sauce is delicious. The baked beans are the best. Good amount of spice in bbq sauce. Definitely worth trying this place out. They also have a nice dining area with a large screen tv.

This is a repeat visit. I had to start with those French fries. So good! I order the Smoked Beef Ribs, and sides. Meat was seasoned well and the sides were as well. Really delicious.The cornbread is great. It was crowded and the space is small, but they are so accommodating. There was a shortage of serving staff so the wait was a bit long, but the atmosphere is so pleasant and relaxing that I didn’t mind the wait except I was hungry. The waitress made a “Mocktail” which was so good, I ordered one to go. The owner and staff were so nice and made sure we were satisfied. My overall experience was great. It was a long distance, but worth the ride.

My husband and I stopped in to try this restaurant after church. They did not disappoint! I ordered rib tips, Mac and cheese and yams. My husband had hot links and yams. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered on Grubhub and food was so good! We ordered the half and half/sweet and spicy sauce and it is sooo good! Ordered a slab and rib tips and more than enough for 3 people. Beans are delicious as is the corn. Can’t wait to eat here again!!

Friendly staff, good very good. Had the 2 meat combo turkey tips and links. The cornbread OMG excellent . And bar drinks were tasty. Noticed some sides only available on Sunday. Worth more visits.

Had a graduation party there. Food was amazing. They even broke out the karaoke for us. Staff is very personable. I always get the wings. The soul food on Sundays is on point as well.

I’m not a collard green person but I ordered some after tasting someone’s… let’s just say I was trying to figure out if I could get some through TSA. Nothing disappointed and the serving sizes were on point. You BETTER NOT come to Chicago and not try them. I can’t wait to come back and visit cause this will definitely be a scheduled stop. First off let me tell you , I rode my bicycle over 3 miles to get here . Mind you that’s not far , but I’ll say this. I would ride my bike over 8 miles to eat this again . Only reason why I didn’t leave 5 ⭐ is , I came in on a Thursday evening. They didn’t have Mac & cheese or Candy yams. That’s only on the weekends ( forgot which day Sat or Sun) but don’t let that stop you from coming in during the week !

FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! The atmosphere is great definitely made me feel welcome. They have a juke box so you can play what you want to hear. Food was hot season to perfection.. I had a dusse strawberry lemon drop n it was mix to perfect both sweet and I could taste the dusse as well. I had jerk Turkey tips with Mac and cheese and yams. My mom had the Turkey tips with collard green everything was great and we will definitely be back for more!!!!
