Extremely yummy food. We have dined in and the service was very fast and friendly and have also placed pick up orders through doordash which was super speedy and equally as delicious as takeout. Our personal favorite are the empanadas which are large in size and VERY filling. The sweet plantains and the green and pink sauces they provide are our next favorites. Highly recommend!

I don’t understand the low reviews people leave at this place. Definitely not my experience. I ordered tequeños & steak parrilla and the meat was perfectly cook, the sauce was amazing and the gentleman who took care of me was beyond amazing. I’ve tasted many venezuelan restaurants specifically in Houston, Texas and I dare to say this is my favorite outside of Texas by far. The juice I ordered was delicious and tasty as well. Also they didn’t take too long to get our order and to bring the food to us it was fast. So if you want to come to this place i would definitely recommend coming from someone who’s outside of Florida and was visiting with my wife as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Thanks for your wonderful food and excellent service provided to us.

This Venezuelan restaurant was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—every bite was delicious. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The restaurant itself was spotless and very well maintained, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is the real deal! I had fried plantains with their cilantro lime dipping sauce. You get a stack of them and they are so crispy and delicious right out of the fryer.. I also got a beef empanada that was completely stuffed and freshly made from the outside In! I also got a slice of their pineapple cake, which was huge Portion and divine! Everybody should try this place. It is amazing. It’s on 9 Mile Rd.

Excellent food! I’m Colombian and came here with my husband looking for authentic Latino flavors, and this place truly delivered. The Venezuelan food is high quality and tastes homemade. We ordered the Parrilla de Carne and a Cachapa with beef and cheese, plus a delicious passion fruit frappé. Everything was sooo good!

If you’re craving authentic Venezuela flavor in Pensacola, El Bodegón Sabor Latino hits the spot! The food here is full of sabor and comfort.

We started with the Cachapa with cheese and cream—sweet, perfectly grilled, and that generous layer of melted cheese and cream on top? Ridiculously good. Then came the patacón with pulled beef, served over a crunchy cabbage salad and topped with sauces. The plantain was perfectly crisp, the meat flavorful and tender, and the mix of textures made every bite memorable.

The place is casual, prices are fair, and you feel like you’re eating in someone’s home. Don’t expect fancy—just real, homemade Latin food done right. A must-visit if you want something different from your typical spots in town. Will definitely come back to try more!

I stopped here twice on a road trip to/from Texas. I had the empanadas and the yucca frita. On the 2nd visit I had the salchipapa. The empanadas are a good size, the filling is definitely not lacking and is well seasoned and tasty. The yucca frita is crisp on outside and tender on the inside. 3 sauces are provided to accommodate the meal, one of the sauces is a garlic cream style and I don’t recall what the other sauces are, but they are all delicious. The salchipapa dish was very good and was meticulously organized by layers, not the usual salchipapa “pile”. The owner was very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are craving empanadas. Currently, there is construction or repair in the plaza and this location looks like it is closed, so this may be missed by people not familiar with the area.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bodegón Sabor Latino is a hidden gem on 9 Mile Road in Pensacola! We had the Venezuela Burger with beef, bacon, and ham, along with the Pabellón Arepa—both were absolutely delicious. The garlic cilantro sauce was amazing on everything! The service was excellent, prices were very reasonable, and we wrapped up our meal with a fantastic cup of Colombian coffee. If you haven’t tried this place yet, I highly recommend it!
