Had a PHENOMENAL time at Bodega in the Gables. It was my first time there and it won’t be my last. The drinks were fire, the food was fire & the service was absolutely amazing. Caro was an amazing server and Will was just as awesome behind the bar. Super courteous and fast with the service. And the food and drinks WOW. Straight fire. I was too full to check out the speak easy, but next time for sure!

Bodega in Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, deserves every one of its five stars! The food is simply outstanding; each dish bursts with flavor and creativity, making it a culinary delight. From their delicious tacos to the vibrant ceviche, every bite is a testament to quality ingredients and expert preparation.

The service is equally impressive. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out. If you’re in the area, Bodega is an absolute must-visit!

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding my recent experience at your bar.

I was charged $21 for a gin and tonic and $20 for a vodka tonic, plus tax and a 20% service charge, resulting in a total of $55 for two standard drinks (each with a 2-oz pour). Quite frankly, this felt excessive and unjustified, particularly given that the venue was nearly empty at the time.

These prices are comparable to those charged at major event venues such as the Miami American Airlines Arena, where guests expect premium pricing due to demand and scale. In a standalone bar environment—especially one with minimal occupancy—this pricing strategy is not only surprising but unsustainable.

Compounding the issue was the inattentive service from the bartender and the complete lack of engagement or offering, which further diminished the experience. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can say candidly that the overall interaction made me feel less like a valued guest and more like an unwelcome tourist being overcharged.

This experience was unacceptable. I would appreciate a follow-up phone call to discuss this matter and an appropriate refund. I raise this not only as a customer, but as an industry professional who understands the importance of fair pricing, service quality, and long-term guest relationships.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Something is missing in this bar. I’m not sure if it’s the City of Coral Gables that they should promote more the night life according to the target or if it’s something else.
I went to Bodega in Coral Gables on Friday night around 11pm and it was almost empty, probably 8 people there.
Dj playing music and a very kind bartender making drinks, but no customers.
I have been in Bodega Coconut Grove and it’s always packed during the weekend, impossible to get in.
This bar has the same type of decor of Coconut Grove; actually the hidden bar in the back of the Bodega in Coral Gables is nicer than the one in Coconut Grove.
In conclusion in my opinion, we (the people who live in Coral Gables) should visit more the restaurants and bars or they should do something different to attract people. It’s a wonderful area that should be more busy.
Why I’m giving the 5 stars? To support the business of the City and I hope this is a motivation to improve. Maybe live music, a magic show, a stand up comedy; something that attract people who live around.

What a nice place. HOWEVER with the ohhh so common deception. Let’s order two buritos. One is $12. Comes out to a bit more than $24. Ok. But then it turns out that was only for ONE. The question of the classic burrito comes with a choice of meat, I was told yes. But no mention that comes with an up charge. Also, no mention at the end that a 20% service charge is already included. Very deceptive- a Miami classic. Staff is nice, place is cool- just the way money is generated is deceptive. I am sure all the details I are written somewhere- but it is not up front. This is the first time I encountered a vegetarian burrito disguised as a CLASSIC burrito.
Staff was friendly and gave me free sauce on the house. They must have sensed my displeasure. Thank you

What a welcome site to see Bodega opening up in Coral Gables. The location is perfect, right on Miracle Mile, The burritos were fantastic and the service was also great. They have a DJ at night and a full bar. Perfect for a late night snack.
The menu was great ans we cannot wait to come back to try other dishes, although the short rib burrito was just too good.

We ordered two quesabirrias from their app. They arrived burnt and inedible. When you call the number listed on Google you reach an AI answering service. If you say “problem with order” it will send you a text with a link to order from their app. If you say, “speak to team member” or “speak to manager” it sends you a link to a WhatsApp number that is associated with Bodega, but no one answered my texts or calls.

Waited over an hour for my takeout order.

Because they were so backed up my entire $100 order was rushed and under cooked.

Taco Bell would have been way better.

Do not recommend.

Tons of other better places to eat in Coral Gables.
