Sliced beef was dry, and we received the wrong items. Ordered 1 pulled pork. The owner offered a complimentary meal to fix it, but we declined.

Traveling from California and staying at the holiday inn express. Took my family across the street for lunch. The food was mouth watering. I had the chopped brisket plate with Texas toast, with mac cheese and beans. The sauce was amazing. From my understanding this place has recently opened. There was a great feel from the management and a pleasant vibe. I notice the military officers there the previous day. I figured these guys knew where to eat. Glad we gave it a shot. If we’re ever in the area again we will make our way here. The owner gave my 2 kids free deserts as well to take back to the hotel. A + in my estimation

Food is okay. Price is way too high. You would think that since they are working out of a little shed it would be cheaper. Since they have very little overhead. I would rather go to coopers in the stockyards and get a pound of brisket for the same price. If they come down on the price it would be much better. My wife got a $7 sandwich and it was just two pieces of bread with brisket in the middle. No sides, no drink. Not acceptable for us.

From California, here on business. My wife noticed the “Order Your Holiday Turkey Here”, and figured the turkey sandwich must be good. It was great, as was the brisket sandwich. Not sure what all the “high price “ noise is about.

This review is based solely on my experience and is my opinion.
Went by last night placed my order at ~ 7:30P finally rec’d my food at 7:55P. 1LB sliced brisket, 1/2 lb sausage, 1/2 lb ham, large side baked beans, large side Mac and cheese, small side potato salad. Bill Total was $53.
First in my opinion there is no excuse for the wait time. Second, I have eaten at many barbecue joints and the pricing was a little ridiculous. Lastly if you are going to charge that much for your barbecue make it something special. The baked beans tasted like any I could buy off the shelf, Mac and cheese was all Mac and butter very little cheese, potato salad was decent. Brisket was dry, over cooked for sure, ham wasn’t horrible, sausage was decent but again nothing special. I’m an amateur smoker and could have prepared the whole meal for a lot less and it would have tasted like I cared about what I was doing.
Sorry for the harsh review but in my opinion the whole thing was not very appealing.

Great fresh homemade food!
The sliced brisket is great and the sides are made fresh each day. The green beans are just like my g maw made them and the Mac and cheese is delicious. Today I had the bacon cheese burger with verde green chili it was awesome!

Horrible! Over priced and very skimpy on the meat. I got the sliced brisket plate which was cold, very little brisket and very bland green beans. The meal with 15% tip cost me $18.00. Not worth it which is a shame since it’s family owned. I do not recomend it.

I don’t know how Kacy Bryan thinks the prices are great… Unbelievably high . I paid $26.80 for a sliced plate and half pound ribs. The guy preparing it put (6) 3″ ribs in a box and one of the ribs, probably the end one, had a small sliver of meat attached to it. But that wasn’t the worst. The brisket on the sliced plate was so tough I truly believe I pissed the birds off when I threw it out of my window. Slaw and potato salad had no flavor either. I was very disappointed with Bodeen’s and will never return.

Great place to grab a bite! The staff is friendly, and the cheese burgers are so fresh! Lisa, the owner, always makes it a point to say hello and get to know her customers. I work around the corner from this place and make it a point to drop by a few times a month. If you are in the area, definitely drop in and try this place! 5 stars across the board.
