We had the pulled pork and the pork & sausage sandwiches. The bbq taste was excellent and sandwiches were above average size. The bbq sauce was served warm and was mild & tasty. The baked beans with brisket had a nice smoky flavor. The baked potato was a side that had an up charge – it very big and also very good. You order at the counter and can eat inside or outside. Staff was courteous & helpful. There are some daily specials.

We spent in total $60
I had Brisket sandwich With sides and my partner had the pulled pork sandwich With sides. My Son had the macaroni and beans. My Brisket sandwich Was good but greasy. It tasted better with the sauce that they provide. I give that a 6 out of 10.
My partner had the pulled pork and described it as eating jail food. 1 out of 10.
For my sides my partner and I both had potato salad and the beans. And on the first bite, it was not good at all. The beans weren’t fully cooked, and the potato salad lacked flavor. I tried giving my son the beans and he spit them out, and that’s saying a lot, because he eats everything. I could barely take one bite. 1 Out of 10.
My partner ordered banana pudding for him and my son, and enjoyed it quite well. And they would rate it 6 out of 10.
And lastly, my son ate his macaroni and he enjoyed it quite well. He is one years old and can’t speak yet, but I would say he would rate it as an 6.5 out of 10. Because he didn’t finish it all.
The customer service was awesome and the atmosphere, well there wasn’t really too many people there so 10 out of 10.

And in the words of Keith Lee, this is my opinion you might find the food different to your taste, so please do go by And support them. God bless.

Really impressed with their rib and brisket. Very flavourful and not overly salty. Fast, friendly service. The team at the counter were really helpful and patient. I’ve tried other BBQ places in San Angelo based on reviews and ratings, so I’m suprised Bodacious doesn’t have a higher rating. In my opinion, hey are on par, or better than some of the other higher rated BBQ places in the area.

I really really love the smoked turkey sandwich..so so good. Great portions! Great ratio of meat to bun. They have some of the best BBQ sauce, not too sweet , not too vinegary. I love all of their meats but the sides are not my favorite.

Oh wow this place is really amazing. They have several different types of meats to choose from and they’re all done to perfection. The sides are even better. I had the brisket and it was just so tasty and very delicious. The price is right and the people are extremely friendly. Highest strongest possible recommendations

First time here and was craving BBQ. Brisket didn’t have any flavor, Mac & cheese had no flavor, the potato salad was not to our preference as it was mayo with no mustard and I don’t believe there was any relish in it, the sausage wasn’t bad but it didn’t stand out, the ribs were great, and the beans were really good however it was more like Brisket chili. The chopped beef and pulled pork are dry so if you prefer your sandwich with sauce, I recommend using theirs on it. They’ve got regular and spicy bbq sauce and both were really good! We were going to get chicken but they only have breasts, we prefer dark. The place itself is really nice and the customer service was excellent! There is also a self serve bar of jalapeños, onion, dill pickles, and their made in restaurant sweet and spicy pickles.

Tonight, for the first time ever, I have a complaint. This is and will continue to be my favorite BBQ restaurant, but I ordered a slice of the coconut pie and it was very different from the coconut pie they used to serve. It’s not even pie crust, it’s like Graham cracker crust maybe. It tasted like the terrible coconut pie that is served at Shannon hospital. Very disappointing. But the sliced brisket and beans were excellent as always!!! Need homemade dessert though. That pie tasted like a cheap frozen pie. Sorry.

Not a bad little barbecue joint. It seems to be a chain but is run like a local place, with disposable plates and silverware, and a simple menu board. Perfectly serviceable pulled pork, good chopped brisket for a chain, and a very savory smoked sausage. I had the sandwich — whose name I forget, sadly — that had chopped smoked sausage and brisket and it was a good combination. The brisket wasn’t too greasy and was pretty finely chopped, giving a nice contrast to the diced sausage. Sauces and condiments are all for you to add, too, which is nice. The pickles — both the dill and sweet — on the condiment bar were excellent, too! The sauce was fairly middle of the road, trending sweet, with a little red pepper bite.

Despite being this far west, they actually had decent sweet tea, too. Service was extremely good, with friendly folks behind the counter. The kitchen is partially open and looks spotless, too.

30 dollars for 2 small brisket chopped sandwiches n 2 single servings of potato salad 1 slice pie. No drinks. Bbq was at best ok. Potato salad was probably the worst I’ve c ever had n I’m 62 yrs old . 2 bites I wouldn’t eat any more. The 4 dollars slice of pecan pie is the exact u would get from Walmart bakery n the fact they actually ask for tip on the machine for take out last straw. I’ll never go back.. Rudy’s in Waco very expensive not that great was much better. Bodacious sucks don’t waste your money go Mc dondls
