Bocelli’s is a hidden gem in Waynesville NC! The food & service was wonderful! The chicken Alfredo & garlic knots was delicious! My husband got the baked ziti & he said it was also delicious! The sauces taste homemade. The cheese bread for an appetizer was sooo good as well! Our waitress was so attentive & kept our drinks filled. She had a wonderful personality! We will definitely be back when in the area!

DISAPPOINTING ❗ see pics. Not recommended to “Get To Go❗”. We ordered 2 16″pizzas… The Garden, and ham and mushroom. SPECIFIED WELL DONE❗❗❗ I even stated “Golden Brown, not burnt”…. Arrived back at our VRBO, only to find uncooked dough❗❗ Called to explain our botched pizzas. Adrianna, apologizes and stated she will remove the charges. I explained we are in town for a while, she first wanted to remake our pizzas ❓ Why would I drive another 25 min 1 way just to be letdown AGAIN ❓ Adrianna called back, said the chef would like pictures. Sent pics, have NOT HEARD FROM HER ❓❓❓❓❗❗❗
If the chef and manager would be reading this, I did waste My Time To reheat the UNCOOKED pizzas to try and make them edible. In the oven @400° for “30” MIN, PATHETIC…. AGAIN AVOID IF GETTING DELIVERED OR TO GO, THEY DON’T BELIEVE THAT CUSTOMERS ARE IMPORTANT❗❗❗❗

Decided to split a mushroom Ravioli with my better half. Was good. Nice honey Onyx bar upstairs. Plenty of room despite the appearance from the road. Staff was acceptable and wasn’t disappointed.

Came to this Italian restaurant hoping to find some good Italian food in Waynesville. I love bolognese and carbonara, and so does my partner — we eat them often, and he’s even worked at Italian restaurants and cooks them himself.

The bolognese I ordered had a strange texture; the meat kind of dissolved in the mouth instead of having any real bite, and the sauce itself could use more seasoning. The garlic bread was pretty tough — my partner joked that it felt like a “Brillo pad.”

He ordered the carbonara, which unfortunately tasted more like a Cajun pasta than an actual carbonara. Interestingly, this is the second restaurant in Waynesville where the carbonara looked and tasted more like a New Orleans–style Cajun cream pasta. (Pictured below)

Overall, the food was just okay — nothing terrible, but nothing memorable either. We were mainly disappointed that the carbonara wasn’t a real carbonara. On the bright side, the cheese bread was spectacular.

Great Italian diner in Waynesville. Simple good Italian food and friendly service. So nice to have bread, soup or salad come with entree, just like the good old days!

Great find on the back street in Waynesville NC
Wonderful drinks, multiple food selections and quick service.
Their chicken picatta was the BEST of anywhere I’ve been across the USA. I asked for gluten free so they held the breading and it was a gourmet delight. Juicy and tender breast over risotto with an incredibly savory caper sauce and just enough for some in every bite.
Salads were scrumptious and not the run of mill Italian restaurant iceberg, rather greens with just perfect blend of sunflower seeds and cranberry along with a really incredible peppercorn parmesan dressing!

I suggest you bring a jacket because it’s freezing in there. Also we had to keep our feet on the table legs because it was wobbly, so was one of the chairs. Fortunately the food was delicious! The ravioli was covered in a gorgonzola sauce and it was wonderful, so were the garlic knots. The loaded calzone was huge and very good. The pizza was good but salty. We were too full for dessert. Our server was busy so it took a while to get our check.

We had a great lunch at Bocelli’s today. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and super tasty, the wild Alaskan salmon entrée was fresh and flavorful, and the pasta was delicious too—all around excellent food. Ambience was decent and casual, nothing fancy but comfortable. Prices felt very reasonable for the quality. Solid spot—definitely worth a visit! 4.5/5

I highly recommend reservations if you are dining here as this place gets busy. This is a must visit whenever I am staying the night in the area and the best Italian food around .
We have never waited more than 6 or 7 minutes on our table and even that is rare . The hostess team is nice and friendly and always greet us with a smile. Our last visit at the end of April , they were very busy but we were sat almost immediately.
The tables have white paper over them and I enjoy because my wife and I can doodle notes to each other if needed. They turn tables often so I can see the speed of doing the paper and it’s got to be cheaper than linen . It adds character to the place , not that it needs more . There is an upstairs as well and I believe the larger groups are there .
So we are greeted by our server and we order promptly , our salads came out quick, we should’ve eaten them slower as the wait fir the rest of the meal was close to 45 minutes to an hour . This would normally not be a problem but our server only stopped by once after clearing out salad plates to tell us our food was about to come out . It was 30 minutes after that . I feel if she had been more communicative about the wait, things would’ve been better.
Just a few stop bye or even informing me the kitchen is extremely busy and the wait might be longer than normal
Now the food is out of this world good and my lasagna was the best as always , my wife had the Chicken Parm and raved about it .
I did a three on service just because of communication, but I promise this, we will eat here again as soon as I get back up there

We’ve been looking for a good Italian restaurant for 10 years since we moved to western NC. From Blk. Mtn area we traveled to Waynesville with a hope and a prayer to find such a restaurant. Finally our search is over. On a hunch we walked into Bocelli’s after doing a Google search. Food was absolutely perfect. Prepared perfectly, service was delightful, sauce, crusts and everything we had was just what we’re been looking for. We know good food and we’ll certainly be back and have NO problem making the trip for such a meal.
