Me and my boyfriend have been coming here for Valentine’s Day for 4 years. We refuse to come back any other day throughout the year as part of our tradition (which kills us but it makes our experience all the better when the time comes). We have had Katelyn as our server the past couple of times. She has made our experience so much better with her attentive service and bright smile. We can’t say enough about the food— I mean we have been coming back year after year so that speaks for itself. Can’t wait to spend the next 4 years here. Thank you for making our Valentine’s Day nights so memorable.

I’ve lived around this restaurant for months but never been. Decided to go on my birthday by myself (Christmas time I’m not a loner). Food was spectacular, service was great, they comped my tiramisu cake, and the waitress sang me happy birthday. It was very sweet. Also very busy for a Monday night

They have half size pasta portions which is nice because with an appetizer this was a lot. The grapefruit basil drink was very watered, but the food was good. They had a back patio which was tight but inside was a bit too loud so it was good to not be in the crowd.

We were so happy with our delivery yesterday! The Chicken Parmesan was outstanding! We each ordered different pasta ravioli and gnocchi and shared. Lovely salad was extra but very good. The food arrived hot and ready to eat! We’re excited to have found this Italian gem so close to home! We only get delivery so we will be ordering again soon!

Chef Daniel is bringing serious heat (and flavor) to Bocelli Modern Italian in Ballast Point! We’ve been dying to try this spot on Bayshore Blvd, and it completely lived up to the hype—cozy upscale vibes with that perfect neighborhood Italian charm.
We kicked off with the Bruschetta on crispy focaccia (fresh tomatoes, basil, and balsamic glaze—spot-on) and the Bocelli Platter with meatballs, sausage, peppers, onions, and mozzarella swimming in marinara. Both were comforting, bold, and made us excited for what was next.
For mains, my partner crushed the Cavatelli Alla Vodka—creamy, silky sauce with just the right kick—and I went straight for the signature Chicken Riggies. Tender bite-sized chicken, sweet & hot peppers, red onions, Pecorino Romano, all tossed in a flavorful marinara over rigatoni. It was creamy, spicy, perfectly balanced, and straight-up addictive—clearly a nod to Upstate NY roots but elevated with Chef Daniel’s touch. The house-made pasta special that night was another winner: fresh, al dente, and full of layered depth.
You can taste the passion in every dish—classic Italian comfort meets modern flair, generous portions, beautiful plating, and top-notch ingredients. Great place for Italy food. Try the pizza if you love greasy full flavor pizza. And then there’s the pasta. We accidentally ordered the incorrect order and the waitress didn’t get upset and switched.
