I stopped into Bocconcini Deli & Pizza one morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. I ordered a Western omelette and a large deli iced tea—both were fresh and delicious. A solid spot!

The staff is super kind and the prices are fair but the food is NOT good

Months ago I tried a philly cheesesteak. I work close by and wanted to give them a try. It was not good. Very dry bread. The cheese was not good. Too much meat and not enough cheese.

Today i went back to give them another try. I was starving and this was the closest place nearby. I ordered just a chicken cutlet with mozz on a roll. Again the bread was dry and terrible. And the chicken was not good

It def upset my stomach.

I hate leaving 1 star reviews because i know it affects a business. Again, the staff was super kind but the food is not good!!

Their pizza is really good and was fresh but I wish I could say the same for the fries, they were over fried and very oily. You know when the fry gets dark due to too much oil, on top of that there was some chicken pieces in my fries, I don’t eat chicken so seeing that just made me throw the fries. They fry them in the name oil and the burned chicken pieces just come along the fries.

Only gripe I have is online chicken parmigiana hero is $9.89 and they charged me $10.99 didn’t realize price difference $1.10 nothing crazy but if I can order online for $9.89 save $ especially if I was buying a few heroes for the office it starts to add up. Chicken parmigian hero and a soda $15.20 with tax. Hero was good was good and bread made the hero, staff was very nice and attentive to all customers. Other then price discrepancy I would recommend. Some people would find different price a big deal and times are tough for all so every dollar counts.

We ordered 2 egg sammies. First Sammie was, 2 scrambled eggs sausage buttered roll, salt and pepper
Second Sammie 2 eggs over easy, bacon pepper buttered roll.
Eggs on Sammie 2 was still. Mostly raw, heavy salt and pepper…
Scrambled eggs partly still raw heavy salt and pepper…
Paid high price for inedible food. Threw out the rest. Wouldn’t even give the raw Sammie to the dogs.

This is the best small town deli I’ve been to. Food is fresh and made to order. I had the chicken parm hero and it did not disappoint. My only complaint was they didn’t have enough garlic knots. I only got 1. But it was terrific. I don’t need more than the 1 but I sure would have loved more. Next time I’m in the area I will stop in.

Thursday is my favorite day because of the mac & cheese but this place is awesome. Service is great and Kasha, Mike, Danny and the whole crew make it a great lunch spot. Just get there before noon if you want a hot lunch.

Best deli on Long Island! The hot menu is prepared fresh daily and includes authentic made on premises pizza. Sandwiches are generously sized and tasty. We also tried their catering for a recent event and everything was delicious!
