First restaurant I ate at in this part of MD. The empanadas and steak taco were great. The chicken taco wasn’t as good. The size of the tacos were also super small but i guess for the price I couldn’t complain too much. Overall a good place to grab a quick bite.

I tried this place today. Its small and located right in the center of downtown havre de grace. The lady at the counter was very friendly. We ordered two vegetable tacos and 3 empanadas (cheese). The food was great and was made fresh. Really enjoyed it and would be back again!

Great presentation, but food is bland. Service is prompt. Food served in appropriate amount of time. I was charged $6 for the $5 special. They offered to make it right. I just deducted from the tip. Staff is pleasant and friendly.

Stopped in for a quick snack. Solid service, tasty guac made fresh. The menu looked very enticing and the whole place has a homey feel. I’ll be back to try the rest!

I think this is my favorite restaurant in HdG… the best guacamole I have ever had in my life is made here. Everything I have gotten here is delicious, prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients, everything well worth the price. Visit about once or twice a month and never disappointed! They have cute accessories, decorative clay glasses and Mexican candies for sale here also. Family running the restaurant has dealt with some personal tragedies since opening the business, from what I have been able to gather, yet they still have their doors open and manage to provide top-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine in an area that one would typically be hard-pressed to find around here… the one and only negative is regarding the indoor seating, which I know they have little control over. It is a small space, and when I say small, I mean small. So there’s only about 3-4 actual tables in the establishment. Would be nice if they had more seating for patrons dining in, but it is, once again, a small space. They have to work with what they have, so might be best to adjust expectations and order your food to-go.

Ordered 6 tacos – the advertised price is $2.75 + .50 for meat. Arrived charged $3.75 + .50 for meat. False advertising. Get home and only 5 tacos had meat and toppings, 6th was an empty shell ‍♂️

Excellent tacos! The corn tortillas are made fresh. As a matter of fact, it seems that most of their menu is made fresh. Simple, yet nice selection of meals. Staff was very friendly.

My only complaint is actually nit-picky (and realistically out of their control) and it’s that there’s not much dining room. If someone come in with a big group before you, because it happens in Havre de Grace, then you better find another spot to enjoy those awesome tacos. Which you can get to-go.

Energetic ambience, very amiable folks, and nice seating area. I got the steak quesadilla – it was good, but I wouldn’t come back as a first choice. The sour cream was watery and the steak – as others have mentioned – seemed a bit off. The biggest bit for me, though, was the cost for the size of it; based on size, I would have paid maybe $9. $14 was a bit outrageous. If the steak was more of a center piece and had more of a quality taste, $14 would absolutely be merited.

I use to love this place. The tacos were amazing. The people were kind. And! The salsa was amazing. Last time I went it seemed like new people. They weren’t unkind. The salsa was horrible and my tacos were not what they use to be. I understand change happens but if it was amazing from the beginning…why change it. I haven’t went back to this place in awhile.
