The experimental special was absolutely phenomenal – creative, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The drinks? Just as impressive. Balanced, bold, and seriously satisfying.
But what really elevated the experience was Halley – bartender, waitress, and all-around superstar. She’s not on the menu, but if she were, I’d order her every time. Attentive, genuine, and effortlessly cool – the kind of service that makes great food even better.

We were a party of 8. The food was delicious. We all ordered something different and everyone was happy. Fresh made chips were amazing. The best part was our server Chris. He was accommodating and made our evening very special. I have never written a review before but thought so highly of the hospitality that I had too.

I had the carne asada tacos in the carne asada enchilada. The food was phenomenal. There are a couple of really annoying things there that really takes from that restaurants potential. When you were served water they give you straws but the cups are taller than the straws. Totally incompetent purchasing decision. In my 45 years of life I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that ran out of salsa on a Saturday night. And lastly they are serving the food on ceramic plates but they give you kids sized plastic forks and knives. Completely unexcusable. Very sad because this place had amazing food but I couldn’t recommend it to anyone as of now. I know the economy is tough and I hope they survive but they need to make some better decisions.

I wanted to like this restaurant. We came the week it opened and it was awesome. Last night it was not. It is not an “elevated” dining experience as noted on the website. The three enchiladas were tiny, tough and very expensive. We were given plastic to-go utensils (that did not cut the tough enchiladas). The $12 glass of white wine was warm. We were presented with a wireless unit to pay a total final bill, with no itemized check in advance to confirm for accuracy or even if it was the right check for our table. I gave three stars for Service because the waitress/bartender was serving the entire restaurant and she was trying. However, we will not go back.

I’ve heard mixed reviews on this restaurant, but I’m here to tell you it is amazing!! We loved every taco we got. The salsa tasting was delicious, but fair warning they get spicy FAST. We also have the churros, and they were the best I have ever had. We ate the tacos before I could get a good picture they were so good. Highly recommend giving this a try!

First visit and it was an enjoyable experience. We were greeted and seated upon entering. My husband and I shared 2 tacos, beans and rice. My husband thought the steak taco was very flavorful and filling. The pork taco was also pretty good. The rice and beans were ok but not hot. My son enjoyed the fajita burrito with chicken. It was huge and very good. We also enjoyed a pitcher of House Margarita, which was also pretty good. The bathroom was also very clean and smelled nice. I would definitely recommend Boca if you’re looking for a cool Mexican spot to hang out.

New to the area and stumbled across this spot. We sat at the bar. Service was good and the food and drinks were even better!!!. The restaurant wasn’t busy but I can see standing room only in the near future. I love that industrial , cozy feel. Very satisfied and will be back!

I have to say I was very disappointed with the service. I was there on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty when I got there but it slowly starter getting busy. It took them FOREVER to bring out our appetizer (approx 30-40min) then they brought out the adult before the children’s food. That just says a lot about the service. The food was terrible. I got the tacos al pastor (2 tacos in the order) and couldn’t even finish them. The queso and salsa tasted like store bought. Don’t recommend going here for food. The place is super nice and has so much potential but they needa get more servers and possibly train or change that chef!

Came here with a friend last night for a last minute meal and had a fantastic time. The food was brilliant and the drinks were outstanding. The tortillas are made fresh with your order and it truly makes a difference. We ordered tacos (veg & non-veg). The hibiscus tacos were really flavorful and I truly also enjoyed the mushroom…even though I don’t really like mushroom. The owner (Elio) was gracious enough to let us stay well beyond closing time. Gabe made some fantastic drinks including non-alcoholic for myself. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again.
Celiac Update: this place is celiac safe. I called Elio prior to coming to the restaurant to see if it was celiac safe. He was very helpful in guiding me on what was and was not safe. Our entire family loved the food on our second trip to this spot. More importantly, no issues with being glutened!

I saw this restaurant list as “elevated Mexican” and decided to try it. The quality of the food was definitely not elevated. I had the al pastor tacos and the guacamole. Despite being creatively prepared with pomegranate seeds, it still missed the mark. At $18, It was served in a bowl that was deceptively shallow. It appeared to be a very large serving but was actually rather small. Additionally the rice and beans that came with the tacos was remarkably tiny. It’s really fine because who needs the amount of rice and beans that you normally get at a Mexican restaurant but it was really noticeable how small they were. The meat on the tacos themselves was very fatty and hard to chew. Definitely do not recommend those tacos. Given the knowledge beforehand I would just choose another restaurant. Most of the food was rather bland. Even a salt shaker would have helped.
