While they offer a convenient drive-thru option, we preferred to enjoy our treats at the shop itself. It’s a cozy and pleasant spot with seating available, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. The vibe around the shop is always lively, and it’s clear that it’s a local favorite.
They offer a wide variety of ice creams and shakes, with options that can satisfy every sweet tooth. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially during peak hours, as this place draws a crowd. That said, parking has never been an issue whenever we’ve visited, which is a big plus.
Now, let’s talk about portion sizes—absolutely huge! The hand-scooped chocolate chip (2 scoops) was more like a mountain of happiness in a cup. Our kid opted for a Chocolate Vanilla Sundae topped with marshmallow, fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top—classic and perfectly made. Whether you go with a cone or a cup, the scoop sizes are unbelievably generous.
We ended our long weekend and an adventurous day with this sweet indulgence, and it truly hit the spot.

I’m here on a relaxing summer sundae evening quick to jump to an orange/van cone… After a meaningful conversation with another innocent bystander my mind reevaluated the whole order before you know it I got the vanilla sundae with a brownie at the bottoms with some nuts and a cherry on top Boy oh boy was it a presentation in itself. Them I felt robbed of the brownie for a moment. Then I rolled my sleeves up and dug down deep and brought out a perfectly coated chunk of brownie I drouled and licked my lips before I even took a bit!

We had the best time at Bob’s Twist-N-Shake in Venice! The banana split was amazing — rich, creamy, and held up perfectly in the Florida heat. Their hand-dipped and soft serve vanilla were both delicious. Great portions, friendly staff, and a classic local gem. Can’t wait to come back!

Consistently the friendliest staff around! We were here on 9/27 and also the end of August. Doesn’t matter because every time I’m there, it’s wonderful! I love the consistency and the portions.
The flavor of everything is yummy! I had the banana split for the first time—best I’ve Ever had! My friend had the pumpkin ice cream and loved it.

Very friendly staff, great big portions, nice little area to sit and enjoy your ice cream and more than fair pricing for what you get. We tried a bunch of flavors and all of them were very good except the chocolate for some reason …wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Love their shakes and smoothies!
