Bread was amazing. Crab cake was amazing. Food was great. No complaints of food, but honestly, steaks were Charleston’s quality. Their mashed potatoes are very garlicky which I enjoyed. The carrot is a nice pop of color but they are very sweet! The put a lot of the juices from the carrot on our plates and it mixed with the steak… not a huge fan of sweet steak/potatoes. Not a big deal though.
Service was nice, I like their uniformity.
Environment felt very crowded. We were in a corner booth with a 6-top not 3 feet away from us. We had no other option than to hear that tables full conversation. For the prestigiousness of this restaurant I’d expect a little more room/privacy.

We had an amazing experience at Bob’s Steak & Chop House and were so happy we came here for my birthday. After Nick & Sam’s couldn’t honor our reservation we had placed weeks ago or offer an acceptable alternative upon arrival, Bob’s truly saved the day.
The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and so personable. Our server Brittney was incredible, and Kristen was also so kind and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff made us feel genuinely cared for and provided a dessert for the special day. We loved the experience and will definitely be back! Bob’s has gained loyal customers from here on out.

An amazing experience from the moment we walked in to the last goodbye. The service, food, and atmosphere were top notch. The shrimp were some of the best we’ve ever had; so fresh sweet and huge! The portion sizes are more than plenty so plan on asking for a take home container. The waitstaff was very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. This was one of thr most enjoyable meals of our vacation. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

I hadn’t been to Bob’s Steakhouse in over ten years, but it recently came to mind after sitting at the bar and remembering one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My partner and I were in Dallas visiting family for Christmas, decided to spend a night in the city, and found ourselves without dinner plans. Luckily, we were able to get a table at Bob’s. I was thrilled, especially since it had been so long, and my partner had never been before.
From the moment we arrived, it was exactly as I remembered: cozy, warm, and incredibly welcoming. The highlight of the night was truly the service. Rosie was absolutely fabulous and made the entire experience feel special and effortless. The ribeye was one of the best I’ve ever had, and her wine recommendation was spot-on—easily one of the most refreshing reds I’ve ever enjoyed.
I would absolutely recommend Bob’s to anyone visiting Dallas. A true institution and an unforgettable dining experience.

Locals told me this is the best and underrated Steakhouse in Dallas. I truly had a wonderful evening at Bob’s , the food was phenomenal . We started our meal with the crab and avocado salad , which reminded me of ceviche . Very fresh and light . I don’t like to drink Alcohol very often , so our wonderful server Rosie brought me a mocktail. It was very fruity with hints of lemon and pineapple. For our main course we had ribeye , filet mignon , mashed potatoes , candied carrots and gouda mac & cheese. This was one of the best Steaks I’ve ever had . It melted in my mouth and was full of flavor . I’m very picky about my mac & cheese and this one definitely hit the spot. It was smoky , gooey , and the cheese to pasta ratio was perfect. Rosie was the sweetest , as well as the other staff members that took care of us. 10 out of 10 recommend !

My partner and I are in town for Christmas and went to Bob’s tonight for dinner. The place is warm and cozy and had a really great vibe. Our waitress Rosie was so friendly and made amazing recommendations. The wine and steak were fabulous. I recommend the filet mignon and smashed potatoes.

Our waiter, Delton, was amazing, so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without ever making us feel rushed. He really made the whole evening even better.
