Sept ’24: Absolutely ranked in the top 5 best steaks we have had. The bread pudding desert was on point; no match for it. The atmosphere is a bit dark and could do with some soft lighting and less of an air of exclusivity but located in a wonderful area where the outdoor patio is delightfully soothing.

I had high expectations for this steakhouse given the great feedback and reviews read. Perhaps it was the day we went, or timing, but regardless it was definitely not what I expected to receive from a famous chophouse. The steak itself was the biggest disappointment. For what they charge, I expected a tender, high-quality cut. Instead, my steak was riddled with gristle and tough connective tissue. Nearly a third of it was inedible, which is unacceptable at this price point. ($90 for the Wagyu) I spent more time cutting around chewy sections than actually enjoying the meal. When you’re paying top dollar for a steak, you expect to savor every bite—not leave a significant portion on the plate because you physically can’t chew it. The serve herself asked if I would like to take the remaining home and I told her politely, “No thank you, I couldn’t chew that part.” The atmosphere didn’t help matters. The dining area was so loud that it was difficult to hold a normal conversation at the table. Between the echoing acoustics and the general noise level, the experience felt more chaotic than upscale. For a restaurant positioning itself as a high-end steakhouse, I expected a more refined and comfortable ambiance. The man next to us forgot his hearing aid and was basically screaming at the server who forget his entire meal. Overall, this was an overpriced and underwhelming experience. When you combine steep prices, subpar meat quality, and an uncomfortably loud dining room, it’s hard to justify a return visit. There are plenty of other steakhouses that deliver better quality and a more enjoyable atmosphere for the same. The flavor of the steak I was able to enjoy was wonderful. Perhaps I should have only paid 2/3 of the price that I was actually able to consume. We had this restaurant on our radar for 2 years. We typically dine at Davids across town. I know there’s truly nothing that could be done at this point, but I was very disappointed. Several friends have seem to have great experiences, but unfortunately, we did not. I will add, our server was extremely friendly and professional. She was excellent, the food just did not emulate along with the ambiance.

Great place. Food was amazing, we had a big party, they assigned 2 servers and those ladies didn’t leave us wanting for anything. I didn’t take one picture because we were enjoying ourselves too much. I had the fish special, it was delicious. I tried a scallop from someone else’s dinner, and it was so tender and flavorful. The calamari appetizer was delicious as well. We had desserts, believe them when they say they are shareable. We will definitely be back when in the area again

Absolute 5 star all around! Arguably the best steak i’ve ever had. Are server?Christina knew her job well and was on top of it. Drinks refilled without asking, plates removed, and food delivered to the right person as ordered.
