If you are looking for a good home cooked meal; Bob’s has you covered. Food is excellent, the staff treats you as family, and the service is right on time. Great price, nice atmosphere, and friendly people. Definitely worth stopping in, especially if you have an appetite. I highly recommend!

Found this place on Google maps on the trip home. Can’t beat country cooking so decided to give it a whirl. Very cute inside qith a game of old collectable items on the walls and hanging. The folks inside sound like I do… think southern NC accent and just good down home friendly folks. The food was delicious! We had the fried chicken for our meat. The batter was SO good.. crispy and salty. The chicken was done and didn’t hold grease under the batter. I had black-eyed peas and could taste the ham hock. The macaroni salad wasn’t really mayo based to my surprise and was delicious. We were so happy we found the spot on our backwoods drive home and felt welcome.

Great place for a quick bite. Staff and atmosphere are great. The food itself was a bit lacking but does reflect the cheap pricing. This would be a bigger issue if it wasn’t for the low prices. The hash browns are similar to McDonald’s instead of anything made in-house. The sausage was pretty dry (heated up frozen patty) and the biscuit was of similar quality. I would visit again.
