I’ve been coming here since I was a child. I love the food and the staff is always friendly and make sure you’re happy with the quality of your food. I moved away so I do often times miss the food but believe me when I say, every time I come HOME- I order from here.

I LOVED my experience here! The people/staff are the sweetest, and the food is just as nice! It’s a little home town atmosphere , and it’s just so heart warming! I took my 2 young children with me and of course… children make messes and mine made a BIG mess but the staff made me less stressed and was happy to see us get a full belly with little left over! Definitely a 5 star!

They have very good food! A little pricey compared to the two other restaurants in the city! The homemade pie is mouth watering! The wedgies & hoagies are very good also! Me and a friend stopped into this small diner to grab a bite to eat for lunch today.
Overall we were not happy with our lunch. Together, we ordered 2 burgers, x2 fries, and 2 Sweet Teas, which we had replaced because they were extremely sweet.
Waitress was ok, happy to help us and was very polite. Fairly busy, with a small dining area.
Food was alright. Took 35 minutes for us to get it to our table. Burgers tasted great, fries were ok.
Ended up paying $38 for 2 people after a 35 minute wait.
You chose. We won’t be back.

I have had many “Milkshake Dates” here along with fond memories & a satisfied appetite. A small-town, quaint restaurant. I find places like these appealing because of its unique character. I applaud the fact it’s a family owned business. Bob’s Place has been around longer than I have been alive & I wish them nothing but success. The owner, Bobby has always treated me right & fairly. He’s a nice, respectful man. My only complaint is the prices are a little high but local, small businesses like these must survive. Bob’s Place is an important, iconic piece of history within this city. The food is delicious and its staff are friendly. Thank you for your hospitality Bob’s Place. Here’s to many more years of success. (alcohol is not served here)

Edit: Jaunita, I am sorry. Sincerely. My words coerced you to stoop down to my level. I will admit and regret that had I made this review during an enraged and emotional state. Logic and reason evaded me. I won’t apologize for what brought me to this emotional and enraged state but I won’t accept your dismissal which is not only unfair but also unprofessional. This does make me a hypocrite of course as I could not and still cannot believe how “whoever it was” communicated with my mother. Furthermore, I am disappointed that someone representing Bob’s place would respond publicly in the way you have.
I digress.
Sincerely, I do regret posting this review in the fashion I did. I do think I had some fair points, but they were most definitely lost in the emotional state I experienced. I regret that I have led to Jaunita responding in such an embarrassing way as well.
I agree with Jaunita, “Daddy google” as you put it isn’t going to punish your “place” but the people that utilize “Daddy google” will be able to see this and will potentially cause churn for your business. Believe it or not, we live in an age where getting customers in a fairly remote, touristy place like yours, it is beneficial to have a positive presence on the web.
Even as embarrassing as my review is now that I have read it again (I forgot what I had said and Jaunita’s dismissing response definitely didn’t help), I will keep my original response up for reference, unedited, as its only fair to me and anyone who reads Jaunita’s response, and possibly even for Bob’s place so they can learn from it if they are willing.
I will also admit I am still upset. Seeing the response from Jaunita let alone the initial interaction over the phone has left me with a foul taste.
I shouldn’t have said the things I did and as such I really do apologize for the words and accusations in my original review. They were neither constructive nor accurately informative and only meant to be harmful.
I don’t earnestly believe these people are on substances, other than possibly your own hubris, that would impair their ability to function at their job.
I hope that you can forgive me for how childish and reactionary I was and for how I wronged you and how my emotions brought not only myself but Jaunita down as well.
As I am still obviously upset, I will possibly get over this experience and replace this review with a purely constructive one, but there is more that I would like to say at this time, but it is not worth any more of my or your time.
Please everyone, even at Bob’s place, have an actual good day.

Well this is unfortunate, we tried ordering here over the phone and an someone named Alayna caused my mother grief because they claimed they couldn’t hear her but repeated exactly what she would say like she was high on something. I get that not everyone can not be coherent because of illness and such but handing the phone to someone like this is not acceptable especially when the customer is obviously getting upset. This place this place needs to work on who they hire and they need to accept that people want to order food from there even though they’re four point whatever star review shouldn’t reflect how the level of quality that this place represents. I hope that Google can maybe do something about this and change what is displayed because this place is not deserving of the four-point plus stars that they have. I’d say it deserves probably two because it’s the kind of place that you go to when you have basically nowhere else to go and you’re just screwed for options. Thanks for reading my rant/ review. Everyone but bobs place have a good one

It’s a old family style diner/ restaurant with great home style cooking. I would not refer to it as an Italian restaurant; however the Stromboli was delicious with his home made doughs and breads. Btw the fried fish dinner is amazing. Fantastic Pa Wedgie sandwiches. This low Key but delicious.
