The food was great! I had a chicken bacon wrap with a side of green beans. The green beans were fresh too, not out of a can. Perfectly prepared. They offered a mini Bloody Mary and it was delicious. Our server was very attentive to make sure we were happy with our meal. We will be back!

Very good food. I had a smash burger and cheese curbs appetizer. Probably the best cheese curds I’ve ever had! Great service. Slightly noisy because the dining room is open to the bar and there was an obnoxious lady but that is what it is

Great food, friendly and speedy service. My wife and I just stopped by for a quick lunch snack so split the Olive Burger & Onion Rings. Highly recommended! ♥️ Our waitress Mia was as sweet as they come – Thank You!

Have went here for alot of years. They currently have a card from a fundraiser that they are doing and I was told that it can’t be used on to go orders by employees and the owner was there at the time. Now I find out that it can be used on to go orders. Great food but I will not be back. I’ve spent over $300 on to go orders since I was told the adrenaline fundraiser card can’t be used on them. So if anyone has been told the same you might want to ask.
Your response to me was:
Hi, John! First, thank you for being a loyal patron of Bob’s. We love being able to provide To Go food for people to take with them on their adventures, or back to their homes. The Petoskey Sunrise Rotary Club hosts the annual Burger Battle fundraiser and the dine-in only rule was set by them. That rule, and all of the other rules, are printed right on each card. Please reach out to the organization with any questions or concerns. Thank you.
My response is that i the card came from a local school fundraiser not from the burger battle fundraiser and does not say those rules it just says excludes tax alcohol and gratuity. Also other people have been using it on pickup.

Stopped in on our way through. Food was excellent, they had a prime rib grilled cheese as a special that was melt in your mouth fantastic. The prime rib french dip was no slouch either. Fantastic lunch. If you find yourself around Alanson, stop in and give it a try. Great foot and staff.

Bob’s was a great reprive from the heat! I took advantage of their all you can eat salad and homemade soup bar. They also have a full bar so I ordered a cocktail. Fantastic!

One of the best country fried steaks I have had in a long time. Everything tasted great. The beans and the mashed potatoes. The group I was with had the soup and salad bar and were also impressed. Will definitely go again.

The food is okay. They use good quality ingredients but the grease soaked through the bottom bun on my burger, not super appetizing. The service and entertainment save it though. Trivia and Singo super fun and appreciated for such a small town location.

If you’re traveling near Alanson, Michigan, Bob’s Place is a must-stop! Just 20 minutes south of the Mackinac Bridge, this charming diner serves up delicious, hearty meals with a side of great hospitality. My wife and I had the Reuben sandwich with French onion soup, and both were absolutely fantastic—perfectly seasoned and comforting. Our server, Taygan, was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

I’ve been coming up here for 30 years. And I have never been to Bob’s many of my neighbors have gone and told me how good it was. They were right. I had the wet burrito.
The best one I’ve had in a long time. I would recommend this place to anyone.
