I’ve been hearing about this place for a while and decided to get something to-go. It takes about 15 mins to make since it’s cooked to order.
The chicken tasted fresh, and I loved how crispy the skin outside was. You could tell it wasn’t oily at all which I liked. I liked the chicken but I did feel it was missing something. I can’t explain it. I got my chicken dark.
Also, tried their large sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes. I wasn’t a fan of the mashed potatoes at all. The fries were good, and the fried okra was just okay to me.
I do want to try other options on the menu.

I’ve been missing chicken crackling since I left Louisiana and I was happy to see that it’s available here. But, I didn’t even get it this time, I got the chicken skins and the 2 piece fried fish platter with Cajun fries and a drink. Everything was soooo delicious and flavorful. The chicken skins appetizer is a good amount of food and it was so crispy and crunchy. I got the spicy ranch, tartar, and the spicy garlic dipping sauces. Those fish pieces were almost the length of my wrist to my elbow. They were moist and it’s a very meaty/filling fish. I will definitely put this in my rotation for frequent visits. The lady who took my art was very pleasant. Great experience overall.

I’ve been loving Bob’s chicken for years! The batter is so flavorful and the chicken is juicy but does not feel like it’s smothered in grease and oil. I tried their fried oysters today for the first time, and it is definitely chefs kiss! If you’re not in the mood for the drums or the thighs, the garlic Parmesan wings are a must try! Bob said he flavors the peppers himself too. I’m not a big spicy person, but I’d definitely try if I were!

Went here to dine in on a Friday night before it was busy and it was worth it. Tried their chicken, mac n cheese bites, coleslaw, corn nuggets, mashed potatoes and fries. It all came out piping hot and well seasoned. Not too much batter and decent portion sizes.
Liked most of the sides except the mashed potatoes seemed like nothing special. My fav was the Mac n cheese 3 piece dark meat with 2 sides was affordable and filling. Also note I got the whole leg quarter, a drum and a thigh.

We found a hidden gem in Mansfield called Bob’s Chicken & Seafood. The food is outstanding and made to order.! Spices are homemade and delicious. We had fried chicken, fried fish and fried chicken skins with mashed potatoes/gravy, Mac n cheese and Cajun fries. The portions were very nice and fish pieces were huge! Our left overs will definitely be for dinner. This is a place you want to try. Everyone was friendly and place was nice and clean.. We definitely will be back.

100% going to be my new chicken spot. The batter on the chicken has tons of flavor, the skin is super crispy and the meat is juicy. The catfish was delicious the outside was crispy & flaky and the meat was juicy as well even after driving 15-20 mins home. The mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese were so good too. Wish I could eat it all but I’m stuffed!

Me and my husband were looking for a good place for seafood. We decided to look near our location n found this restaurant. We are so glad we did, tried n have been back for more. The fish n shrimp large portions so good n not greasy at all. Fresh cooked n sides are great. Homemade every time we’ve been.We loved it. Places like this are hard to find, most places now are ridiculously high prices n terrible. Good food, great service. Try it you won’t be let down. Enjoy We will be return customers.

We took our kids to have dinner, and we tried just about everything. The cracklings were so flavorful and crunchy! We loved the light batter on the chicken and the fried oysters. My daughter loved the Cajun fries as well. Out of the many sauce choices, we liked the spicy garlic and the house tarter best. I enjoyed the corn nuggets. You can’t go wrong with anything you try here. My sons definitely approved of this dinner choice.

Costumer service awesome. Very friendly. The fried chicken was very flavorful and not salty/greasy. French fries were hot and crispy. Potatoes and gravy so good. I like a mustard based potato salad and it was delicious. I highly recommend. Next I’m going to try the hot wings and fried fish

Their chicken is delicious and so fresh! Honestly the value is better than the fast food places. They make the chicken on the spot so expect 10-15 minutes wait.
Staff is nice and dining area is clean. I got to go and packaging is great. Nothing leaked from the bag.
