We ordered Take-Out. It wasn’t good. We ordered a Fish Platter and it was 3 small pieces of fish and the batter was thick and chewey and stale. Shepard’s Pie Soup was tasteless.
Ordered the Donuts with Dipping Sauces but no Dipping Sauces were included which made Donuts dry and tasteless.
We ordered Take- Out 2 months ago and it was not good. We tried them again hoping there was a new chef and better service but it was the same.
We use to go to Bob’s Lynden a lot but it has declined. We won’t be back.
Too many great local restaurants with high quality Take-Out.

I hung out here for a number of years, and always had a good interaction with each and every bartender—until one named Chelsey came along, who I watched become progressively worse over the course of 4 years and ultimately pushed me to the decision to never come in ever again.
I don’t “go Karen” on particular employees with my reviews, but the behavior and actions of this individual are so egregious—to the point I and other patrons felt unsafe in her presence—that I feel it’s important to make this publicly known:
She always snarked and been rude to me and other people I’ve been with. At first she mildly sarcastic, but it seemed there was a threshold she passed and she would give me and everybody else some form of rude snark any time I attempted to order from her.
I never even tried to chit chat with her; I recognize not all servers are into this, and I try to respect it if they are not into it. This sort of nastiness would come out invariably when ordering a beer or paying my tab, every single time.
My real issues with her started one summer. The bar was very noisy and I tried to tell her I wanted a refill of diet Pepsi. She made no indication she heard me and even appeared to ignore me, without any facial or vocal reaction and appeared to be idle otherwise. I held up my glass because I assumed she didn’t hear me. She then screamed at me and picked up my glass AND SWISHED IT AROUND IN MY FACE, SPILLING SOME SODA ON THE COUNTER.
I mistakenly continued to occasionally go in—after that point, typically I’d just leave if I saw Chelsey in there. Last time I was in, I saw her there and mistakenly didn’t leave—I asked her for a different server and I watched her have a MELTDOWN in response. I got up to leave and she continued to throw a temper tantrum, following me to the door as I was exiting. (despite my repeated indications I have no interest in continuing the interaction!)
Absolutely avoid Bob’s until Chelsey is gone!
And Chelsey, find a different line of work! You are the real Karen here!

Very sad to say that something has changed over the years!
The food just didn’t hit the spot like I remember from a few years ago. The portions are still huge but something has changed with the burgers and fries.
The pickle fries were honestly incredible and the best part of the visit. The tater tots were nice and crispy but just already when it came to flavour (a bit of Cajun seasoning would’ve been clutch). My burger was just alright and not as good as I remember and the iconic chipotle sauce has now been replaced with a crappy alternative. The worst part by far was the nachos.
Bobs Burgers and Brew was always the highlight of our visits south of the border but now i don’t know. I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know that goes down south so hopefully things go back to normal.

Food was good; lots of selection and variety. Beverages were good and reasonable. A few items had to be asked for more than once and need to specify burger temp for your burgers. I liked the variety of options for sides which included fries, chowder, and salad 🙂

Yesterday I ordered a bacon hamburger to take away and I was very disappointed because the lettuce was all moldy and ugly, also the flavor of the hamburger was far from what I have eaten there on other occasions. Apparently there is a big difference between the service in the restaurant and the one that is ordered to take home. I do not recommend anyone to ask for take away because apparently they place expired or expiring food.

Bob’s Burgers and Brew always delivers on delectably delicious, melt in your mouth, firing on all cylinders flavor! Along with exceptionally filling portions, you won’t break your wallet and always well worth what you pay for. Perfection on a plate no matter what you order! My personal favorite burgers are the sweet and savory Hawaiian Burger and the rich and smokey Guacamole Bacon Burger. Jam packed full of juicy goodness, paired with a side of hot and delicious fries, wash it down with a cold and refreshing beer; I went with Blue Moon, your taste buds will thank you!
I recently had the Steak Salad that was just to die for! Dangerously delicious with a generously portioned steak, cooked rare to melt in your mouth perfection! Paired with a tasteworthy raspberry vinaigrette and texas toast to soak up that sweet dressing. Definitely worth getting again! Almost everything on the menu is worth getting again and again!

Great establishment. Always enjoy coming here. However this last time I was a little disappointed. I watched a young employee drop silverware on the ground, proceeded to pick it up and place it into the tray of clean utensils. When I asked for a knife they tried to hand me one from that container and I quietly explain why I didn’t want that one and they still didn’t remove the silverware to replace it with clean ones. And then they continued to set the tables with that silverware. I just don’t find this very sanitary. What I don’t know doesn’t hurt me but watching it happen right in front of you is different in my opinion. Hopefully they can address this issue.
