Bobs bar never disappoints. The hamburger are huge and tasty. The sides were plentiful. We had mushrooms, cheese balls, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, gizzards, cauliflower and Fries. All really good. We’ve been several times. And will definitely be back

For a small town, it’s hard to beat his establishment. The cheese balls and Bob’s burger are items you have to try. Please be aware, you must use cash!

A must stop location if on the area. The burger and sides are massive and very affordable. Location didn’t take credit card during our visit so make sure to plan accordingly.

Super affordable burgers and massive sides. We got a cheeseburger, a pork tenderloin, and a full order of tater tots all for under $20. We hadn’t realized it was cash or check only, but thankfully had some cash on hand. They also have an ATM inside.

Unbelievable how a place like this exists, yet alone in a town of less than 100 people! The portion sizes are massive and the prices are solid; totally unaffected by inflation and rising cost everywhere. This place is a MUST. Definitely worth driving a bit “off the beaten path.” Tip: sides can easily be shared by 2-3+ people so don’t everybody be ordering their own side!

Definitely a great small town find! The appetizers are huge – we got fries and onion chips and even with four of us, we couldn’t finish them all. The burgers and tenderloin were amazing too. Would definitely take the trip to go back again!

The BEST dive bar you will ever be lucky enough to visit. Sides of fries, tatertots, and onion rings the size of the 9″plate. Triple burgers that actually require a third hand! And the prices are only $. Friendly patrons from all walks of life, and even friendlier service. On Friday & Saturday nights, expect to wait for a table while standing at the bar. The best experience – every time!

This place is legit… a “hole in the wall”. In the middle of no where in the rolling Loess Hills on the Eastern border of Nebraska, you’ll find the tiny town of Martinsburg, home of 90 people. Yet, this little bar will get packed with 75 people (3/4 the size of the whole town), and at times, mostly out of towners. It is a complete dive, and a dive worth stopping at. Today was our Spring ride, and each Spring and Fall we have riders that come from Sioux City, IA, Omaha, NE, and Sioux Falls, SD. Yes, people travel a ways to come eat here. The place is known for its portions, and you can tell by the pictures why that is. That dinner plate of cheese balls, and of fries…. that’s a normal side portion. So do not make the mistake of ordering a side each. They go a long ways to share. They also have onion rings, onion petals, tater tots, fried mushrooms, etc. Lots to choose from. Meals are good as well. This is not your health food place. If you want to eat a salad, and order off the Atkins menu, you better skip this place. If you want some good ole fried sides, and a burger, tenderloin, chicken strips, etc as your meal, then I’d certainly give this place a try. It will become a repeated novelty stop for you.

In a world full of $25 burgers, Bob’s Bar is an oasis offering delicious, quality food at affordable prices. The service is outstanding, and there always seems to be plenty of space to squeeze in for a bite. Side portions (fries, onion rings/chips, etc) are gigantic — unless you’re feeling a table of 8 or more, opt for the half order (and try a second option!). The cheeseburger is freaking mouthwatering, and there are loads of condiment options within reach. Solid selection of sodas and beers, too. Just stop in when you’re in the area, or heck, make a special trip! You won’t regret it.
