I live right around the corner so unfortunately, this is the only place that I can stop at on my way to work before I hit the turnpike. There is always new faces in and out which means constant errors and slow slow workers. For example, today stood there waiting five minutes while two people were working with food. One was making a turkey sandwich and the other one was putting eggs on a griddle and I didn’t even see any slipped up on the wall other time I got charged almost 5 dollars for a hashbrowns to go on top of the breakfast sandwich. Find you a hash brown the size of a McDonald’s hash brown. I had to correct a girl because it should’ve been just under two dollars another time one of the workers could not figure out how to turn on the credit card machine. There is a Spanish lady that works there and if she is not there, expect your stuff to take forever and most likely come out wrong. It is not cheap there and you are not paying for speed I might start going out of my way to Rutherford and add 15 minutes to my commute just to go to the breakfast place by Brother’s hardware if they are open. I’ve complained before and they’ve offered a discount. I don’t want a discount. I just want my food right and done in a timely manner. Everybody wants a livable wage, but nobody wants to work.

Today was the tip of the iceberg. Been coming to bob’s for a while and the quality has been going downhill. Today though, we got a lox cream cheese on a plain bagel – probably like 5 pieces of salmon through the entire bagel. BEC seemed like less egg than usual ??? Severally disappointed. You cant raise your prices AND serve less.

Delicious food and coffee. I like this place so much I travel from out of my own town to get there. I usually order Taylor ham egg and cheese and or bagel with cream cheese or muffins. The coffee is very good and refreshes frequently. The variety of bagels and cream cheese is great! I like that they have flat bagels as an option. The only thing they can improve is sometimes the people taking orders are rude or just don’t seem very happy and I understand it’s a busy place trust me but a smile wouldn’t hurt and a pleasant greeting would be nice. The place is clean and nicely decorated too oh and plenty of parking!

I give this place a 5 star in every category. No matter how busy this place gets , the people working there always have smiles on their faces and are very friendly. This place is always busy no matter what time of day cause everything is just so good!! The bagels are the best I’ve ever had. I won’t go anywhere else. They’re doughy, and the bottom always has a slight crunch to it. They don’t over do it on the butter or cream cheese either. I have yet to try the other food they have there but this place is hands down the BEST bagels in JERSEY!!

Usually when I come here the guy isn’t here. He’s terrible. He’s busy yelling and getting annoyed at everyone and doesn’t even acknowledge you until he’s ready.
I have never had a problem here before, but this guy is unprofessional. No idea if he’s the owner, but he should stay in the back.
I purposely ask for a non toasted bagel because I do not like drinking my cream cheese like soup.
I did not know the one bagel I asked for was still piping hot sitting there in the bin, so of course the cream cheese is gross.
I go back in and ask for a non hot bagel where the cream cheese isn’t melted and the guy wants to pick a fight telling me to “go to Shoprite if I want a cold bagel.”
No, I don’t want a cold bagel, I want one that doesn’t melt the cream cheese and make me grossed out. Why would I give you money in exchange for something gross when I clearly didn’t want a hot bagel.
When the bagel is made, he starts screaming “the one who wants the cold bagel with cream cheese.”
Maybe it’s hard to understand the simplicity that you are selling bagels!!!! Try to do that right without being a total jerk to other people, your employees, and me as a customer.
I will not back down to bullies, and said it’s not cold again, I just want a room temperature bagel with cream cheese.
And yeah, when this jerk probably comes on here to try to spin it, ask yourself why he was already aggressive to people before I even ordered.

So clean and professional that I’ll forgive them for calling it Taylor ham. Look at this great sitting area out front to the side. Good selection of bagels. And the coffee section is clean and well organized. Menu seems very affordable. I love that this breakfast sandwich didn’t cost me an arm and a leg and then serve me an arm and a leg on a roll. I want a breakfast sandwich. Not a four course meal. If you wanted you could buy two of these for the price of one in other places and did I mention how clean it is? Attention to detail is great. I’m sitting having my breakfast on a private patio with well kept flower pots in a neighbor type setting yet with a nice privacy hedge row. Great find! Stop in and take 5 or 10 minutes to sit and eat your breakfast in a really comfortable, and did I mention really clean, setting.

Like everything everywhere, prices have gone up but at Bob’s Bagels the portions and attention to orders has gone down. Last week I ordered a pumpernickel with chicken salad and when I got home it was literally half the amount of chicken salad I usually get on the bagel. I don’t mind paying a little more to get a good product, which theirs is .. very good. Then this week, I ordered a light sesame bagel with butter and got it home to find hardly any butter. This is not okay. I am hesitant to return because I do not think there is a concern for customer service is non-existent .. the girl always at the register has an attitude like she is bothered that customers show up. It’s a shame because they have one of the best bagels around and the selection is excellent .. They always have enough of everything but cheaping out on portions is not the way to retain customers.

Food is fine… Service, ESPECIALLY phone service is incompetent… Slower day there, called my very small order in, as usual.. Go in to pick up and they have no clue what I’m talking about. So much for not being late for my morning. Why have someone answer phones if they can’t do it…. Also had an issue about 10years ago that made me stop going there for a while… Was opening my cafe, so was going to use them for my everyday bagel delivery…. Were in talks for A MONTH planning it with them…. Then called them a day before my Grand Opening, and they said they do not deliver like that….. Then WHY TELL ME THAT for a month prior. Yea I can say I’m done with Bobby. ✌ ✌ ✌
