The first time we drove out there the place was close for a few weeks. They had a sign but it wasn’t on google. We were sad because we heard great things and drove all the way up there. They don’t answer the phone so you can’t call to see if it’s open but we tried again today, so happy they were open an it was definitely worth the drive! The food portion are HUGE! I hope they never change it lol. The sauce is really good. The macaroni and cheese is okay (I like mines cheesy) but the collar green make up for it! There is a wait time but it’s not bad. I guess it just depends on when you come because we only waited around 20min. They’re black owned and I wish them so much success. I can’t wait to visit them again!

Where do I start? This restaurant is Poppin not only is it made to order ! well seasoned , about 10 pounds platters…. every side was delicious. Best wing sauce up north by far. I would kindly spend $25 on food again .. 100/10 … I will be back

BoBo’s has officially became the ONLY soul food restaurant I will go to in Rochester when i don’t feel like cooking myself lol! His food is sooo freaking good, always fresh and he gives you A lot! I spend $40+ tax on 2 dinners which isn’t bad for the amount of food and quality you’re getting. I have put so many ppl on to BoBo’s even my caucasian friends and coworkers who want to try soul food for the first time lol. His customer service is also good which I’m big on! Definitely give his place a 10 out of 10 would recommend.

I waited about 1 hr for my food. It was so cold in there becusse it is so small and it’s only takeout. They forgot to give me my sauce for my wings on the side. The food was okay I think overly hyped. But…. it was good though. I think the greens were the best

I CANNOT get enough of those yams. So sweet but still firm, not overcooked. The cabbage is super flavorful, cooked just right. That sauce of the BOBO chicken is DELICIOUS. They are my favorite spot in Rochester!

I finally tried the steak & shrimp with a double side of yams….OMGOODNESS
The food was great but those yams MmmmmMmmmm (my favorite side dish)
