We strive to share with our guests our rich Italian heritage of gathering around the table and sharing traditional home cooked meals with family and friends. Each pizza is crafted from our homemade hand tossed dough, thin crust style. Our sauces are all homemade and we use only 100% real mozzarella cheese. Our meals are abundant in portion and always prepared with the freshest locally available ingredients for our guests to savor.
BYO thin-crust pizzeria, also offering pasta & salads, with the option of outdoor garden dining.

Honestly was expecting a bit better. Spaghetti sauce was extra pasty and thick and lacking in italian flavor. Meatballs tasted good but were cool temp when it arrived. The appetizer bread option of the $12 bruschetta was disappointing. You have to scoop out your bruschetta mix onto a dull tasting small loaf of bread sliced to pull apart, but it’s crumbly and messy. The cheesy bread was kind of tasteless (no garlic, oregano or basil), but had good texture. Marinara dipping sauce had very little Italian flavor too. Wife had Hawaiian pizza. We ordered the 12″ but they charged us for the 16″, didn’t realize till later. I did like the seating which felt like outside Italian cafe, but the table was irritating because it was rocking back and forth. Resin patio type chair was comfortable though. Bathrooms needed cleaning and a big hole in the bathroom door, like someone punched it, did not make a good impression. I think management has some corrections to do considering the competition for eateries is fierce in Kapaa. I hope they take my review as it is intended. To just provide awareness from an honest perspective. With Aloha.

Nice italian restaurant. We have penne pasta with veggies and marinara sauce and baked mushrooms with spinach, cheese. Both dishes were good. Baked mushroom with spinach with very nicely done. This restaurant seems to have many vegetarian dishes. Baked zitti, manicotti, ravioli, penne pasta, baked mushrooms, bruschetta, salads, pizzas etc.

My partner and I had spaghetti. Nothing like a little comfort food. Glad the food was hot, not warm like me most places. Good drink selection. Service was okay.

This was my wife’s and my first visit and the highlight was our server, Evan. He was very attentive, personable, and detail-oriented. He even noticed that our parmesan cheese was getting low and refilled it without us having to ask. Our water cups never went lower than half full and our food came out incredibly fast. This kind of proactive service and making sure we had everything we needed before we thought to ask makes him a true asset to this restaurant.
Evan also took the time to give us helpful tips on our visit on the island. His friendliness and hospitality is something we will not forget. I will absolutely come back to this restaurant because of the level of care he gave us.
My wife and I split the Mediterranean pizza and Italian salad. It was delicious, fresh, and came out fast. Thank you Evan for making our night.

I had the penne pesto and the noodles were overcooked and it had too much pesto. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and thought they were good. The fresh bread was okay, nothing special. It did come with butter that was partially melted, which I did appreciate. I don’t like when the pat of butter is cold and impossible to spread.

It is not often that I review a pizza place, but Bobby V’s is so much more than pizza! Atmosphere, check, location, check, service, check, cleanliness, check. Ingredients, double check. We ordered a side of meatballs and the Jake, large pizza. Each bite was like a little slice of heaven! Amazing food. If you are on Kauai and want Italian… Bobby V’s is the place to be!

We ate at the Bourbon side. They are connected but share a menu. Everything was amazing! Food and service were perfect. Walking distance to our Airbnb in the Coconut Marketplace. Best meal we had on the Island. And we ate some great food on Kauia.

We dropped in and celebrated my 50th birthday with my kids and grandkids. Avis was our server and she was so great and so attentive. We all were very happy with our meals. My spaghetti and meatballs with a touch of Alfredo to the marinara was superb! The drinks we got off the menu were stellar. You can tell they care about why they make and serve. Lighting fast service. A lady in the kitchen brought me out a scoop of margarita ice cream with a small float of Grand Marnier. Left full and happy!!

We’ve been coming here since Bobby and Kristen moved the restaurant to Coconut Marketplace. The food has been consistently excellent, but service has really hit a low for us this year. BVs grill was again, good food, but the staff gave my wife’s pizza to someone else, so when the replacement came, she ended up eating after we were finished. No comp was offered. A typical noisy sports bar. Tonight (Fri 01/23/26) we visited the Italian restaurant side for the second time this week. All run by poorly trained kids. Didn’t listen to our order, so got wrong salad. Young waiters, waitresses and bussers wandering around like they didn’t know what to do, and the place was half empty. Please don’t run another good restaurant into the ground by expanding too fast and not properly training and supervising your staff. We’d hate to see another empty space in the Coconut Marketplace where a restaurant used to be. There’s plenty of those already.
